If you're looking to jump start your nutrition to improve your overall health, Misty Cey at RYS Nutrition is the person for you. I participated in the RYS Nutrition Challenge at Isaiah 40:31 Fitness in early 2024. This was my first time participating in a nutrition challenge and I found it to be a great experience. Misty provides nutritional information in an easy to understand manner which was so helpful to me. She also truly desires to get to know you so that she can understand what your goals are as well as your challenges as you look to improve your overall nutrition. When the challenge ended, I knew I wanted to keep learning from Misty. I wasn't sure what working with a nutrition coach on a monthly basis would look like but I was open to Misty’s advice and getting out of my comfort zone. As we discussed my goals, we came up with a plan that was tailored to me. With Misty's guidance and support, I have developed and sustained many, new nutrition habits that include: meal prepping, increasing my daily protein intake, increasing my daily water intake, eliminating diet sodas, cooking on a more regular basis, using an Air Fryer, and creating a recipe binder that a cooking novice like me is actually using. Since working with Misty for the past 12 months and having monthly In-Body Scans, I have gained muscle mass, decreased my body fat, and maintained my same body weight. Most importantly, I have truly enjoyed being on this nutrition journey with Misty. Misty is a registered dietitian, nutrition coach, and certified personal trainer with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience. I can't recommend her enough to anyone who is looking to improve their overall nutrition.

I participated in the RYS nutrition challenge at Isaiah 40:31 Fitness earlier in 2024. I have learned how to plan to eat enough protein daily and where to find it. Being vegetarian, it is not easy finding a full day of protein to consume. Thanks to Misty Cey for meal and snack examples, my weight has stayed steady with no yo-yo issues.

Misty has specific detailed information to share about nutrition for women and me a women in menopause. I have learned for example daily protein amounts ~hydration when I am dizzy ~and food not to eat if you want to lose weight. I am not done learning from her She has no nonsense tips. Today I learned your insurance may cover nutrition consulting! She is delightful to work with.

I have worked with Misty for a few months and I’ve found success for the first time in years. As I’ve gotten older I’ve felt it was so much harder to move the needle on weight loss and overall health. Misty has helped me to be consistent and find things that truly work for me. I have been able to lose body fat and hold on to muscle which is so important. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with Misty, it has been life changing, I feel better, look better and quite honestly act better. The best part is I feel like these changes are not quick fix but long term and I can maintain my results for life.

I started the nutrition challenge b/c I wasn’t happy with my success just working out. I knew I needed to change how I was eating if I really wanted to see results and be healthier. WOW! I couldn’t believe how much I didn’t know about what foods I should be eating and how much. I also didn’t know how much protein I should be eating. My favorite thing was adding all the veggies to my diet; I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I ate a veggie. This was crucial! Also- protein was a game changer…it keeps you full longer. PROTEIN is POWER! Learning to plan your weekly meals ahead of time was also an integral part of being successful. Everyone that did the challenge was so positive and we all loved sharing recipes and snack ideas. Misty was amazing… she checked in with us and we had to hold ourselves accountable by checking into an APP every day. I have forever changed how I eat, shop, prepare food and plan my meals. This is so worth it for anyone who wants to make a change. Misty will add things weekly, so you are not overwhelmed by making all the changes at once. Highly recommended trying this.

Misty has been a blessing for me in my nutritional journey, she is always supporting and encouraging me. Years ago I thought I could never look the way I wanted, now I look and feel great from within! Her nutritional guidance along with my workouts also guided by her, have really changed the way I look and feel. I took her nutritional challenge, which changed completely the way I look at my food! I learned how to properly add vegetables and healthy foods to my diet, I saw a change in my body and gut health. Don't know what to eat..Well being previously diagnosed as a diabetic, Misty has helped me enjoy the foods I can eat without starving myself. I still eat sweets but in moderation.. And as of today, I'm now a pre-diabetic. not on any medications or injections. If you are in the same boat as me, then Misty is your girl. Most people say they would die for you. Well I'm trying to live!

The Nutrition Challenge was great, rewarding, & long-lasting! I learned what foods are better to eat, nutrition-wise. I lost weight, gained muscle! Most importantly, I learned what are true protein foods vs. just foods that have protein in them. 9 months after doing the Nutrition Challenge, I've gained 3lbs. of muscle! Definitely worthwhile!
