Richard did a great job. I chatted with him before he conducted a buyer inspection for us on a home that had substantial work done. He thoroughly checked the most important areas like the crawl space foundation and roof. The report also provides important tips on home improvements to protect your home. I highly recommend his services.

Richard has done a great job for myself and my buyers with his expertise, service in accommodations and taking the time to explain in detail what we needed to know. He was never rushed or made us feel we were just asking too many questions. We had a dead-line to meet and he helped make it happen. I highly recommend his service, he did a home inspection, mold and asbestos inspection. I am very pleased with his ethics, professionalism and his down to earth exchange.

Rick Ivie conducted a roof inspection on a 10-unit condominium complex on November 14, 2023 for our HOA. Rick did a thorough inspection of each unit attic and the external conditions of the roof and gutters for the buildings. He issued a report within 3 days that contained extensive information and photos of the roof condition and recommendations for future actions. The HOA is extremely pleased not only with Rick's report but with his professionalism. Ivie Inspections met and exceeded the expectations of this HOA.

Richard was so communicative with me, and not only took the time to explain things with me, he also did a very thorough inspection on the property. I really felt we were in good hands, and the price was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend using Ivie Inspections.

I was having much higher energy bills than the previous year -- hundreds more each month -- and wanted to find out why. I set up an appointment with Richard for a time that was convenient to me. He called early to let me know he was running a few minutes late, which was no problem and I appreciated the heads-up. The entire appointment took about two and a half hours, and he made a lot of notes and discussed things with me as he went. Throughout the process he was always friendly and professional. It took him only a day or so to put the report together, and it confirmed what he had suspected: that the problem most likely rested with the furnace/AC unit, which was reaching the end of its useful life and was no longer operating efficiently. I am a renter, so you might not think I would be doing an energy audit, but the $250 the audit cost gives me the information I need to approach the owners and work with them to get the problem resolved. So, as I see it, it more than pays for itself.
