I took lessons with Jeff a while ago. While he was an amazing instructor he is also an amazing person. I was just toying with the idea of learning guitar and he was super patient with me, despite my complete lack of natural skill. I just wanted to learn a song but he helped me realize how important it was to learn chords then move on. He knows his stuff. He’s been there, done that, designed the tshirt. He’s exactly what you’d hope for in an instructor. Plus, he’s a dog lover!

Jeff is an amazing guitar teacher simply the best! I learned from him everything from how to read tabs to how to care for and maintain my instrument. Wonderful for kids or adults of all skill levels!! Simply just an amazing person/teacher.

Very knowledgeable and talented teacher, able to teach many different things. But more importantly, a very patient and kind teacher, someone you can relate to and have fun with. When you want to learn an instrument it's important to find someone who will listen to your needs and guide you along the way, someone who will let you dictate how you learn and keep it interesting and encouraging. I would recommend Jeff for these reasons.

Jeff is an awesome instructor! He takes the time to tailor lessons around the student. When I worked with him, I was 37 years old, and it was the first time in my life doing anything musically. He knew I wanted to learn some cool riffs and not be overwhelmed. Jeff listened to my interests, and helped me by teaching me the basics of guitar through scales, chord progressions, etc… but he did so whole also teaching me how to play fun songs he knew I loved like stuff from AC/DC, Van Halen, Eagles and Black Sabbath. He even let my 10 year old sit in on a couple of classes! If you’re wanting to learn guitar, Jeff Swanson is an exceptional person and instructor.

I took lessons from Jeff for eight years, he is a fantastic guitarist and really great guy! Jeff worked with me through my teen years and helped me develop my own style, from learning songs I was interested in all the way through theory, scales, and advanced practice techniques. He teaches all levels and built me up from a beginner to accomplishing things I never thought I could on the instrument. I’ve now played in gigging bands and work on original music in my free time and I couldn’t have done it without him. If you’re interested in guitar lessons, for any style, look no further. He’s your guy!

I really like and respect Jeff because he’s pushed me (in a gentle way) to learn stuff (like music theory) I really need to know. I’ve been playing for many years and jeff got me much better in a relatively short time. Highly recommend.
