We had Vik install three cameras at our home during the covid period. We struggled to have all three cameras operating simultaneously. We asked Vik to fix several times over the warranty period but the problem was never rectified. He now refuses to deal with the matter without a fee as the warranty period has expired. I sent an email to Jim's head office to complain and I have received no reply. Michael

Nothing says quality like wiring sitting over open gutters with the power box right next to a gutter outlet. 950 is cash for extension cords over my roof with power boxes not even wall mounted. Feel completely ripped off and unsafe. Happy to change the review if they can actually fix this without just offering to resend the same cowboy who didn't even provide a receipt.

Had Mehdi come and install 4K cameras to our house Easten Suburb of Bayswater. Mehdi was professional had fantastic knowledge of home security and was very friendly and courteous. He answered our concerns for security and recommended good placement of cameras to capture all images of our home. He took the time to setup all our mobile phone apps and got our security system up and running. Would highly recommend Mehdi for anyone for looking for installs of Security Systems, keep up the good work. Cheers Andrew.

We had Mehdi come out to our home to install 4 CCTV cameras. He was very friendly and knew everything about the system and security for homes. He took the time to explain everything and assisted with setting up all our mobile phones, Mehdi was always there to answer any of our questions. We are very happy with the system install and would highly recommend Mehdi for future installs.

I got Sash who came and installed the security cameras at my home - the actual installation has been good and everything is working well. However, communication was very challenging - he also broke an electrical switch (not sure if he should've been doing electrical work as he's not an electrician) and I had to call an electrician and pay extra money to fix it. Mixed experience, I'll say. Edit- I have provided feedback via the website as advised in the business response below

Kuldeep came out and quoted out job exactly at the agreed time, answered all my questions and turned up at the time he said and completed the job within the expected time frame. He took the time to check everything was working properly before he left and went through all of the settings for us. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone looking for great cameras at a fair price.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Jim Security Camera. When I purchased their CCTV system, I discovered that they set it up using their personal email account. As the owner of the cameras, I was never informed during installation that Jim would covertly use his personal email address, potentially allowing him to spy on my cameras. This is completely unacceptable. Instead of acknowledging this mistake and the bad practice, Jim insisted it wasn't a security breach. I strongly advise against using Jim Security Camera if you value your privacy and expect transparency from your service providers.

I am sorry that you have had a disappointing experience with Jims. As previously communicated it is standard practice for our team to use a Jim’s email as the password recovery email. This is standard practice across the industry as it allows installers to quickly recover passwords when a customer is locked out, which happens very regularly. You can still change your password to ensure your system is secure and so only you can view your cameras. However, if you do want to add your email instead of our installers this can be organised, however you will need to sign a waver to state you have requested this. I will send an email to follow this up.
