I was stressed about my move but JP Urban Moving made it a most painless move I've done in NYC! Everyone was careful with my furniture but super efficient even in the 4th floor walkup apartment. I can't recommend them enough!

I had a wonderful experience with JP Urban Moving. Moving apartments had me completely overwhelmed and worried. The team was very responsive to all of my questions during the quote process and help resolved all COI needs between the two buildings I was moving between. The team worked incredibly fast, and my move was completed ahead of schedule with no breakage or damage. They provided bins a week in advance that I packed myself, which led to very little waste on supplies. Pricing was very fair. I appreciated the dispatch team checking in with me via text along the way to confirm I was happy with the service. Don't hesitate to book these guys - your move will be a breeze!

I've used JP Urban Moving Co for 2 moves now and both times were absolutely fantastic! They are professional, very quick, and easy to work with. Both moves were done in under 3 hours, coming in well below their estimated time and cost, and everything was transported safely and with great care. We will absolutely be calling them when we need to move again!

Once again, Urban Moving outdid themselves. On time, helpful beyond what was required, brought a priceless armoire from a storage unit on LI up 3 flights of stairs with skill and good humor. They even made a repair on the unit that they were not responsible for. These guys are simply the best. And more than affordable!

My wife and I recently moved from Jackson Heights, Queens (NYC) to Poughkeepsie. JP Urban Moving was recommended by a good friend and I gotta say, the process was very friendly and seamless from the get-go. They have terrific communication and worked with us when we had to delay the move from Dec 2024 to Jan 2025. We packed our 2BR and Miguel's team of four showed up earlier than the 9am start time. They hit the ground running and it was like a whirlwind, they worked so fast and so diligently. All with a terrific attitude and smile throughout the day and into the evening when they finished up in Poughkeepsie after 7pm. Their pricing is totally fair, and we have lined them up for further moves (next one later in the year moving our studio from DUMBO, Brooklyn, up to Newburgh, NY).

We would give them 10 stars if Yelp let us! I'm serious: we LOVED working with them. My wife and I are 60 years old and have moved probably nine times in the past 30 years...and OMG these guys were THE BEST of all of our moves. I literally cannot gush enough. Proof is in the pudding that JP treats their workers well, too -- Miguel has been with them for 10 years. 'Nuff said!

Update: 1/8/25 Yet another fabulous experience with this amazing group of highly professional people. This is our third move with them, and they are beyond perfection. This time I was moving my office from Queens to Huntington LI. How they could do such a caring job wrapping and protecting the furniture and expertly wrapping and protecting everything, in such a short time, is a miracle I can't explain even though I watched the whole thing unfolding. They pay attention to every detail, they are extremely kind and thoughtful at every step, their price is low for the incredible quality of their service. I cannot say enough about these folks. I am deeply indebted to them for making the anxiety that comes with a move just melt away. They are the best.

This has been my best moving experience in NYC. I'm so happy that I finally found movers that actually are very careful and diligent in moving. In every other move, I've come out with damaged items but not with JP Urban Moving. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

One thing I will note is that they start the time when they are parking the truck. And I calculated the time based on when they rang my doorbell. There was a 30 min difference which was a discrepancy but I didn't fight it. I also ran out to get the team bottled waters since it didn't look like they had any.

Overall, good experience.
