Absolutely amazing family-owned groomer! We have an 11 month old Bichon Frise who we've taken to 2 other groomers before K9 Design Grooming Salon. The other groomers really just didn't compare to K9 Design and grooming. After we took him to K9 Design and Grooming, I've learned that it takes someone whose really familiar with Bichon/poodle hair and it takes a long time to groom with scissors to get that specific show-like Bichon look. Gayle was amazing in giving us tips on what we can do at home to maintain our puppy's hair; and ways to work with him in getting comfortable staying still during his grooms in the salon. I can tell that all the groomers in this salon are very patient and work so well with their fury clients. We drive from Kent East Hill to this location because we are always happy with how Hans' groom turns out, and how happy he is when we pick him up. I highly recommend this salon!

K9 is without a doubt the best groomer I have ever been to. I am a traveling nurse and have been all over the country with my English Mastiff Mo and we have never been to a groomer as good as K9. I have even been back in town for a week and tried to make time to fit him in, specifically for their DESHEDDING. If you have an English Mastiff, you know, THE HAIR. Its almost unbearable. They took me from sweeping the house 3 times a day to just not have little poofs around to being able to go a whole week without even seeing the hair. AFTER ONE TREATMENT. After the second and third, it was like I had a whole different pup. Not only are they great with deshedding, the girls are truly a pleasure. Mo has always LOVED going to them and they made him feels so comfortable and welcome. No being afraid of the groomer but EXCITED. Book with K9. For real. Now. Do it. You will not regret it!

K9 Design Grooming Salon is the absolute best! They are great at what they do, and are genuinely kind people. I love that this is a family owned and ran business. They provide exceptional care and are accommodating to various needs for pups. I came upon them in my search for a Spanaway based groomer after being extremely dissatisfied by Woofers down the road (which quite frankly, I only selected because they had a lot of online reviews - don't waste your time with Woofers and their rude staff). I'm so glad that happened because I am now a loyal client to K9 Design. Their quality of service and compassionate staff is unmatched, you can't find this kind of care just anywhere. I have a Norfolk Terrier, which is a breed that requires hand-stripping. I didn't even have to tell them because they immediately knew and were knowledgeable in that area. I was pleasantly surprised as hand stripping is not a commonly offered service at various grooming salons. All in all - you can't go wrong with K9 Design. The kindest souls are running this place and are a true delight to see every time. My pup is happy coming here every time! :)

Called late within an hour of them closing and they were more then happy to do a couple of nail trims. They were super good with my Shibas which is no small feat knowing the breed. Would definitely come again ?

I take my ultra fluffy Alaskan malamute for grooming. He is not an easy dog to groom by any means. The girls do an amazing job all around. The only groomer I will go to!

As always my golden doodle walked out happy, clean, and handsome! I totally recommend this business. I am a college student and they made sure to get Hank out on time for me to make it class, they truly care about their clients.
