Beautiful location, comfy stay.
☺ Beautiful spotlessly clean room and very well cooked breakfast. It was very quiet when we stayed so not a huge choice of continental. Full English and Smoked salmon were excellent. top choice of TV channels. Lovely lady attending to us at breakfast.
☹ The stairs to upper rooms a bit slippy. Couldn't figure out heating but it wasn't too cold. Approach road desperately needs attention. Hotter tea and coffee at breakfast please.

Very poor communication! We had to chase up for the answer our every question. We had to wait a few days for the reply from event team. We wanted to book a room for our event next year and we booked a viewing appointment. we viewed the ballroom and we were happy to hire. The date was free. After a few days awaiting their reply they came back with this: "Kingfisher will be under new management before your event in 2025 and the new company is saying it will not be honouring any bookings that are in the diary."
Be careful if looking for to hire their venue or if you already have a booking with them!
Dear event team, why you wasted our almost 3 weeks of time for useless and not responsive conversation from your end! We could have booked another venue which is now gone!

I'm sorry you feel the service and communications were poor, however we could not confirm any bookings as we are tenants and we have been given notice, so we could not confirm any bookings until the situation was clear. we have notified all our customers and we have refunded all deposits and these circumstances are beyond our control.

Went for Subday lunch. A much improved venue, bright and clean. Staff very welcoming and service really good. Had two courses, both beautifully cooked and presented. Will definitely return.

☺ The room was clean with good facilities. It was an easy place to stay at. I would certainly stay again. It was convenient for working at Buckingham, an easy drive. Parking was very convenient.
☹ I could not work out how the coffee maker worked and the long driveway to the hotel had an enormous number of potholes.

Great restaurant, luxury rooms
☺ The restaurant was exceptional it was by far gastronomic standard in smell and flavours, yet generous portions. Breakfast was equally good and generous. I needed to print something and the reception went out of their way to help me print my document. Brilliant service all around.
☹ The room was a little cold for my liking, 19 in the evening and 17 in the morning, and I couldn't work out the heater, so that could have been a little better.

Comfortable stay with friendly team.
☺ Comfortable, clean rooms. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast
☹ First two rooms I was given had problems. The third was great and apologies were profuse and sincere. It’s a bit of an odd set up with the rooms feeling a little like a posh version of the French motorway motels. With few guests, the whole place lacked a little soul.

Superb hotel .in magnificent grounds . Clean modern room superb restaurant fabulous food . Great service highly recommend to anyone visiting the area amazing sunrises over the extensive parkland grounds . Convenient for milton Keynes and beyond Superb value for money
