Kortney is a Rockstar! Kortney has a calling. I recently led a regional conference where I was responsible to coordinate an agenda, manage multiple tasks and to give my very first keynote speech. I called Kortney at the end of my rope and not really knowing how it all would work out. Kortney, as an empath, met me where I was and was able to verbally and mentally guide me to where I needed to go. All of this was so that the very best part of me would show in this very uncomfortable area. There are many people that I've spoken with, received advice and trusted in moments like these. Kortney is able to capture your moment. I didn't feel that she had any personal agenda in speaking with me to walk me through steps, in my mental world, that would lead me to the personally unattainable destination. I can guarantee you that once Kortney connects with you, you will understand that there are some people that train to work in this profession and others who were created with the sole purpose of it. Thank you Kortney, you've made a lasting impression that I want to repeat with your guidance.

A Professor Invested in my long-term Success I had the pleasure of learning from Dr. Pegram as my professor in my Professional Coaching course at The Chicago School for my Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I will attempt to put into words the incredible experience I had with her during this course. Rarely have I had a professor that cared this deeply for my success and growth as an individual. Dr. Peagram introduced exercises and assignments that not only grew my knowledge as a coach, but increased my knowledge about myself. With consistent journaling exercises and effective prompts to encourage deep introspection, I grew in confidence and personal understanding. This further encouraged the truth of coaching that you are your first client. Her course highlighted this and helped everyone succeed. Dr. Pegram went above and beyond as a mentor as well. She not only took time with our assignments, but met individually with each student each week to make sure we were receiving clear feedback, as well as having an opportunity to check in with her on how we were doing. She helped us to each identify areas of strength and possible weaknesses and then to build off of those. She brought in her own professional experience and a level of encouragement that has pushed multiple of the students in her course to now explore coaching as a career path. The positive effect she has had on the trajectory of my career cannot be overstated and I wholeheartedly would recommend her to anyone if they are seeking to find this level of growth as well.

Dr. Kortney Peagram is the best. There is no one like Dr. Kortney Peagram. During incredibly challenging periods, Kortney’s thoughtful coaching and guidance have made our family stronger and more resilient. She helps us see that obstacles can become opportunities to grow and heal. What I love about Kortney is she goes beyond “How does that make you feel?” and offers concrete steps to take. So not only have I gotten the best advice for difficult and complicated situations, I’ve also had the chance to safely explore my reactions. In doing so, I have become a better parent and advocate for my family, operating from a safe place rather than a reactive one. “Transformative” is the word I use to describe Kortney’s approach and the results I have seen.
