Andrea met with me 3 hours a day for the 5 days that I was in Mexico City. She knew many "off the beaten track" places for us to visit while chatting in Spanish and helping me improve my use of the subjunctive. This is the best way to improve your Spanish! I highly recommend "Learn Spanish in Mexico City," and I suggest that you request Andrea as your tutor!

I’ve been studying (B1-B2) level 2-1/2 hours each day of my 10 day trip to Mexico City. Danielle has been a fantastic teacher - very patient, knowledgeable, and explains complex points very clearly. We have been meeting at a coffee shop close to my hotel (my choice to avoid traveling to the school). I appreciate the flexibility and accommodation. I will book again with Danielle & Learn Spanish on all future trips to Mexico City.

Phenomenal and incredibly professional school. I have been working with my instructor, Daniela, for the past few months, and have been really making a lot of progress in my beginner’s learning journey. Classes are interesting and tailored to my goals, and Daniela is incredibly supportive and kind to work with. I look forward to every class. The coordinators who manage scheduling are always the most helpful as well. Such a great experience, could not recommend more.

I took five days of classes, four hours a day with Francisco. It was not only great for practicing and improving my intermediate level Spanish, but I learned a lot about Mexican history, art and culture from Francsico during our lessons and trips to spots around the city. A great thing to do if you want to jump your Spanish up a level and also learn about Mexico City.

I just wanted to share how pleased I was with my experience at Learn Spanish in Mexico City. I had lessons with both Xochitl and Armando, and each was just wonderful. I really appreciated how my teachers customized our lessons to my interests, and I felt that my Spanish greatly improved due to this experience. Plus, being out and about in Mexico City is such a treat. If you are interested in learning Spanish, I would highly recommend this school! I did a Spanish immersion course with Francisco. He is truly a gifted teacher! He knows how to teach language skills in ways that make the most sense and help you to really absorb the lessons. I’ve been studying Spanish for many years and I learned more in my short time with Francisco than I did in years of traditional classes. Bonus: he is a history buff and taught me a lot about the history and culture of Mexico during our “city trips” to museums and cultural locations. I can’t recommend Francisco and this language school highly enough.

I really enjoyed my week with Andrea. We met in different cafes which gave me a chance to get to know the city better, Andrea was always very prepared, understood my level and what I needed to learn, and is also very kind. I would recommend Andrea and this school to anyone. Thank you.

I've been studying Spanish for a very long time and requested a package of 10 1:1 classes with Francisco to dig into areas where I could improve. Worth every peso. I've learned so so so much in those sessions.

Ximena, my teacher, is literally the best! Very accommodating and patience, using my own personal topics of interests to advance my speaking! Also very flexible when it comes to meetings points and times (in person or online). Eduardo, who organized and advised me in the beginning, was the most helpful and supportive, always reachable and responsive. Would definitely recommend as they are super flexible and individual with what you need! All super smooth!

I took 8 3hr lessons with Quetzal, meeting at coffee shops and it was great. Quetzal was super patient, thoughtful, funny, I'd highly recommend to anyone else.

I just spent a month in Mexico City, partly to study Spanish. LSMC paired me with a wonderful tutor, Alina. She really personalized our lessons, bringing in poems, stories and even cartoons. My Spanish conversation skills improved immensely, as did my reading comprehension. In addition, I really enjoyed the readings and our conversations. Alina is both a good teacher and a wonderful person to spend time with. I cannot recommend her enough. Before deciding on LSMC, I looked at several other schools, and this was the one that allowed me to tailor the classes to suit my schedule. It turned out to be a wonderful decision.

We had a really great experience with Lucia, Andrea, and Jonathan. They are able to work with all levels of speakers, are knowledgeable and helpful, but most importantly are interesting and enjoyable to be around. We have new favorite Spanish teachers!

Learn Spanish in Mexico City is an amazing school to learn Spanish. I took private lessons with Jonathan for about a year and it was without a doubt one of the best experiences I had in CDMX. Jonathan is a great teacher who can explain complex grammar and ideas in a simple, straightforward manner. He designs lessons based on learning style/interests and has a vast knowledge of all topics, which always makes for an enjoyable and enriching class. Beyond his incredible teaching capabilities, what makes Jonathan so wonderful is his genuine care to teach. He has a genuine investment in your learning and will do whatever he can to support you in your language journey. He’s a kind and caring person to his core and it comes across in all interactions with him. I can’t recommend him enough if you’re living in CDMX and looking to learn Spanish.

I was in Mexico City for 6 weeks working there and taking Spanish classes through this program with Ita. My goal was to learn Spanish for work and I had been learning off and on for a couple years. I probably started this program at high beginner, low intermediate level. I cannot express how grateful I am for Ita and what a spectacular teacher she is. Never afraid to gently and kindly correct me, and offer me more reasons when I asked why it was incorrect. She genuinely enjoys teaching and it shows. We got to explore various cafes for our lessons which I also enjoyed and she was very flexible if we had to change time to accommodate a changing schedule. I cannot recommend Ita enough - she was patient while also pushing me forward and what's more, by the end of my 6 weeks I actually gave a presentation for our entire Mexico and Colombia office about a very technical topic (geospatial systems and remote monitoring) completely in Spanish. If that isn't a testament Ita's amazing teaching skills I don't know what is! Thank you so much!

I took classes through this program with Ita. We met twice a week at a coffee shop for a few months and it was so incredibly helpful and productive. I feel like I progressed more in those weeks than I have in the last two years of learning online. Ita was great at explaining grammar and conjugation structures in a way that was digestible and helped me to actually practice what I was learning in natural conversation. She was super patient with explaining new tenses to me. I’m in my 30s and I felt like learning a new language was going to be impossible but with Ita’s help I can actually have conversations about subjects that matter to me rather than just the basics. Additionally, I really enjoyed being able to meet up with someone in person and be in new environments around the city. It was a good way to explore the neighborhood while learning. Ita would meet me at cafes near my apartment and enjoyed trying new places with me each week. If you’re new to the city and trying to learn Spanish I would hugely recommend this program. It’s a good way to learn, meet new people, and explore. Five stars!!!
