It was a great experience! You have to buy your ticket in advance, because the experience consists of an organized tour (1.5 hrs), and then you can roam the grounds on your own. Eddie the Jaguar was amazing. The sanctuary was very clean, with well-maintained enclosures and spaces that made both the animals and visitors feel safe and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer questions or provide more information about the animals and their stories. You can also feed some of the animals, which is cool. The sanctuary itself was beautiful, set amidst picturesque surroundings that added to the peaceful atmosphere. It was easy to get to as well. Large highways most the way, and NO winding mountain roads, which is nice. I left feeling inspired and grateful for the work the sanctuary is doing. It’s a perfect place for animal lovers and families. However, small children may not like some of the images of abused animals during the 20-minute video at the beginning of the tour. Great experience. Highly recommend!

People care at this place. First and foremost, they care about the animals. Second, they care to give a great time to guests. 3rd, mention needing assistance and they will make you feel like a true vip. Well done, we want to help more!!!!

Well this place was fun for my 9 year old son to give him something to do. Although I will say the staff were definitely interesting is a NICE way to put it. Upon arrival with my son NO OTHER parties were there yet for the tour we had signed up for. I sign in show my proof of purchase and sign some waivers. The staff who were there were all women, start to tell myself and my son how there is still time for me to participate in a “raffle” that was for $10. My son could not do it because he is not 18 however I could participate. The staff tells me that the raffle is for you to donate to the animals and your name gets drawn from a raffle and you get to feed any animal of your choosing. They then proceed to say how we are the only people there so that means I most likely will win. They all see me and my son FULL of excitement. Mind you it’s a 45 minute drive to get here. I tell them please let me take my son to the restroom and I will give cash for the raffle when I return. NOT ONE OF THE FOUR STAFF MEMBERS feel free to inform me that this magical made up raffle is going to close. I come back from the restroom not even 3 minutes later and they proceed to tell me I can’t do the raffle that it’s “closed”. I literally asked them if they were joking and then they proceed to say no it’s closed. I just starred at them because I literally did not know what to say. Then I say you saw me leaving to the bathroom why can’t I do it and No one else was even there! People showed up 10 minutes LATER and they were LATE. I was so upset they obviously did that to be cruel and condescending even they kept bringing it up and offering their little “fake” apologies after I dropped it. You could tell they enjoyed doing that even my son said I can’t believe they just did that. Not to mention after that moment they want to be nice to the few other guest who showed up but when I did try to Ask questions or participate they were again condescending the whole moment was awkward and uncomfortable. The group who did show up AGAIN LATE had been there before so the staff was of course very friendly to their comments or their questions. Not sure what any of these OLDER women’s issue was but it’s pathetic that your staff at your AGE would do that. Honestly The facility it looks better online than in person. The animals were too hot and didn’t really come out. The only animal who did come out was the bear meatball and then one lion. I would recommend going when it’s not so hot and in the early showings before it gets hotter later in the day if you do go. I do feel staff chooses who they want to treat fairly and for that I won’t recommend to be back. I hope you enjoyed being miserable old women because that’s what you are. But hey if you’re a regular then you have nothing to worry about! Oh they do ask for donations at the end I Obviously was not donating SQUAT after how they treated myself however had they not been so rude then maybe I would have. I immediately left when the tour was done. My son did enjoy seeing the animals at least.

Bobbi is a saint to these rescued beautiful animals. The work that she and her team put into this organization is priceless. Everyone should be supporting this incredible and much needed work.

Lions, Tigers and Bears is an awesome experience for everyone young and old. Absolutely beautiful grounds and the animals are incredibly well cared for. All if the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The animals are beautiful. It is definitely worth the trip to see this magnificent place. They also have a beautiful world class Airbnb rental and grounds that can be rented for parties and overnight stays.

My husband and I visited the sanctuary from the east coast as part of a week long vacation in California. Even though this was only two hours of our trip, it’s all we’re still talking about now that we’re home. We did the Feed With a Keeper tour and had Chris as our volunteer guide. I was impressed with how passionate and knowledgeable she was about the animals. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. We even got to talk to Bobbi briefly and the lead keeper, Cody. Our tour was closer to 3 hours, even though we only paid for 2. She wanted to make sure we had plenty of opportunity to meet and feed all the amazing animals. Being that close to and interacting with the big cats and bears was absolutely awe inspiring and I’ll never forget it. I work in the animal behavior field and spent many years working in an animal shelter and was impressed with the care and enrichment the animals at the sanctuary received. Truly a special place. I wish we lived closer, we would come back again and again!

This oasis is home to wide variety of rescued exotic animals (lions, tigers, bears, a jaguar, leopard, plus many more!). Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and noticeably caring of all the animals. I will definitely be coming back more frequently to support the amazing work Bobbi and her team do.

Everyone must go here atleast once in their lives. I learned so much being here it really was so amazing the love they give these animals is wonderful. Thank you to Bobbi and the volunteers at Lions and Tigers and Bears. You all make the world a better place.
