My mom has been a resident of Bridge St. (Livita) for over 2 years. Their care is outstanding and it really feels like a home away from home.

I love working at the Barrington, everyone is so nice and feels like family here. I chose to work here because I love cleaning and working with the elderly. I have been here for about 9 months working as housekeeper and love it!

My home away from home. I have the privilege of working with our res-fam-jam regularly. I’m rewarded constantly with stories, smiles and having the best and biggest family you could imagine. It’s not a job it’s a vocation and being part of this fills my heart. When you’re excited to go in and miss them when you have to leave you know it’s the most awesome place 🥰 getting to do activities, movies and social events that are all the time with the Barrington family are wonderful experiences and their smiles can make your day…everyday.

The day I walked in for my interview I knew that I would I really like the Barrington. The beautiful stair case in the front and the residents are wonderful. I’ve now been here for seven years. The laughter, and stories of their lives when they were young are so good. We also have a great team of men and women assisting and pulling up our sleeves when help is needed. It makes our day easier.

When my Mom reached a point where she needed additional healthcare and compassion, we researched retirement residences in Oshawa near family. We chose Livita Centennial and we were so pleased we did. The facility is smaller than many, and very personal.The entire staff knows all residents, and are willing to help out whenever needed.In particular, Joanne and Kim are wonderful leaders in showing care and compassion to residents like my Mom. They showed great flexibility to our specific needs, making Mom's experience very comfortable and safe. We really value their dedication! Thank you so much Livita!

It's been 1 year since I have joined one of the best teams I could ever ask for, I enjoy making the Residents here at the Barrington feel happy and loved! And I look forward to supporting and learning from the team and Residents for many more years to come!

Great place to work and live. Flexibility and a management team that is constantly working for the comfort of residents and staff. The kitchen is always cooking up a fantastic meal 3 times a day with lots of yummy treats always stocked up in the bistro as well. The residents get great care from the PSW’s and housekeeping staff. Many great relationships are floating around the home between staff and residents. Regular outings and live music . I would recommend this home to anyone in a heartbeat.

The best place to work, every time I go in it makes me happy. I love interacting with the residents and cooking meals that make them happy. The team is the best and our residents are the greatest. I look forward to going to work everyday.

My Aunt has just transitioned from her home to Livita. This is a major life change and the entire staff have been so caring and supportive ensuring that she is settling in and is included in the activities. The facility is very well kept and her room is bright, airy, clean and cozy. Joy Grenon has provided much needed support and guidance to help make my Aunt feel welcome and comfortable in her new home. Her passion for her work shows in the compassion that she gives to the residents. Thank you!

My mother has lived at Livita Barrington for almost a year now. All the staff are wonderful, and I know they are all keeping an eye out for her when I am not around.

My Mom is the longest resident at The Barrington right now. We have always had good experiences but when Livita took over it became that much better. Emily, Amy, the Joys and all the staff are wonderful. Lots of smiles and encouragement to join in the fun for the families. I applaud them all and their efforts ❤️. The Barrington continues to impress with their caring staff. It is comforting to have Mom in a safe environment ❤️

This review is long overdue, but it's important to express our gratitude. From the outset, Joy and Glenda provided impeccable service and a white glove treatment for my grandmother's care transition and subsequent stay at Livita Barrington. Their effort and attention to detail were remarkable. Since moving in, my grandmother has felt incredibly at home, thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere fostered by the Barrington team. We can't thank Joy, Glenda, and the entire staff enough for their dedication and support. If I could give 10 stars, I definitely would!

My mother lived at Centennial for seven years and we could not have asked for more caring and thoughtful staff. I could not begin to list all the reasons it's a great place, but suffice to say, plenty of activities, good food, helpful, and considerate staff. All of you are wonderful, thanks so much for making my mothers stay so enjoyable. It truly was home for her.
