They came roughly when promised, did the job quickly, and were honest and very reasonably priced. They were no extra charges over what was quoted on the phone. I also appreciated that the locksmith said if I found my lost key, he could re-program it for $85 instead of my paying a second $250 for a spare remote key. I had an appalling experience with this locksmith company that I cannot emphasize enough: AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! They initially quoted us an estimate of $169-$199, but we ended up getting fleeced for over $400. My mom and sister thought their car key fob was malfunctioning and found themselves locked out, only to discover it was just a dead car battery. The locksmith was utterly useless—he didn’t lift a finger to help with the battery and just stood there while my family struggled to jumpstart the car themselves. To top it off, he slapped on over $200 in what can only be described as blatant fraud and then says we need to pay in cash only. Why are we being told this now? When we challenged him about the outrageous charges, he had the audacity to refuse to give us back the car key until we paid the inflated bill. It’s painfully obvious that this company buys their glowing 5-star reviews because the truth is far from that. The one-star reviews are from real customers who’ve been scammed in the same way. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this scam operation! You’ll save yourself a world of frustration and money!

This place scammed my mom. They initially quoted $190, but the final bill was $400, including over $200 in fraudulent charges and unnecessary exams. I strongly advise against using their services, as they exploit women. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The one key we had left for our 2010 Corolla snapped out of the fob. We had glued it countless times. Decided to buy a new blank key with housing from Amazon. Took it to Home Depot to get it cut. Came home and removed the big plastic fob piece from inside and transferred it over. Fob buttons worked but the car wouldn’t turn over. Went through YouTube tutorials. Reprogrammed the fob using the steps. Car still wouldn’t start. It would just crank. Gave Matrix a call, even though google said they were closed, they answered. I told the gentleman my issue with the key and what I did. I asked if he could fix it. He said of course, followed by asking if I moved the small microchip over. Turns out I didn’t. It’s a separate piece and all the glue I had put in covered it so I didn’t notice. I asked if it didn’t work, could he reprogram a new key. Again he said of course and told me the cost. Still less than half of what the dealer would quote. I moved the chip over and bam. Car started. This is service and information you don’t get anymore. They could have easily just said “tough luck” and came and charged me. They just saved our Saturday. I’ll be recommending them to everyone. I’m still shaking my head and smiling at their kindness. 5 stars.

Great service. I lost the keys to my car and needed a replacement. Called the dealership who gave me a ridiculously inflated price, which also required for me to tow it there. Matrix came to me. They unlocked the car and programmed a new key for me in under 15 minutes. Would definitely use their service again and recommend to friends.

Amazing experience! David our tech was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I was told from another company my lock had to be replaced. When David arrived, he said it was an easy fix and saved us over $500. Highly reccomend!!
