Mark and Habib recently completed a project for us. Mark is extremely professional in all facets of his work including quotation, preparation, painting and leaving the site in a clean and tidy condition. He and Habib went above and beyond in repairing and prepping some damaged and worn surfaces resulting in an excellent finished appearance. He provided useful suggestions where required. His quotation was very competitive for the amount of work undertaken. In addition he’s a top bloke to deal with. We highly recommend Mark and his team for any painting project.

Mark gave me a quote to paint the ceiling of my lounge/dining area.
He emailed me an estimate which I considered was excessive, given the simple nature of the job, which was less than a day's work.
I emailed Mark advising I was unhappy with the estimate and asked if he could provide a better one.
Mark did not respond to my email.
I visited my regular paint shop. They provided the name of a painter they are very happy to recommend. I engaged the painter and his associate after accepting the quote.
They arrived early, thoroughly prepared the area, used high quality paint and finished the work by lunch time, leaving my home clean and tidy and the ceiling looking great.
I am totally delighted both with the professionalism of both painters and the end result.
The quote and payment for the work was $269 less than what Mark wanted for the same job.
It certainly paid me to shop around. I would happily recommend my painter and his associate to anyone.

I found Mark was very professional, punctual and friendly from quotation to completion. Mark and Habib were very thorough in their preparation, painting, attention to detail and worked quietly and efficiently at all times. All interior and exterior work was done to a very high standard. Mark and Habib always left everything clean and tidy each day and I was able to leave my house when I needed to. Mark and Habib were very happy to move a piece of furniture back for me on completion. Mark Edgar Painting and Decorating did a fantastic job painting the exterior and part of the interior of our double-storey house.
The old paint was badly weathered, requiring significant preparation before the new paint could be applied. Mark and Habib tackled this challenge expertly, and the final finish is top-notch.
They were incredibly professional – punctual, efficient, tidy, courteous, and impressively quiet workers. They were also friendly and enjoyable to chat with. Mark kept us well-informed throughout the project's progress, and the final cost was very reasonable considering the amount of work involved.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark Edgar Painting and Decorating to anyone. They're a pleasure to work with and deliver outstanding results.

Mark did a fabulous job of cleaning and painting a mouldy carport ceiling. He also repaired and painted the fascia on the front of the house. He arrived on time and was a pleasure to work with leaving the the site clean and tidy.

Mark painted our (quite damaged) outside verandah, front gables and timber roof trim. There were a number of challenges to deal with (peeling surface, dents and chips to the wood, change of colour) and I have been amazed at what a flawless result he managed to achieve. It's given the look of the whole house a much-needed refresh. He's clearly a very skilled and experienced painter who can honestly work wonders.
As well as that, he has been just a lovely guy to deal with. He was always polite and friendly, on time, looked after the work area and kept us informed of how things were going. His charges are more than reasonable, especially given how fantastic the result was.
Overall, I can't recommend Mark highly enough!
