Seated in the dark next to a makeshift bar. We couldn't make out the ingredients in our meals. The nearest lighting 20ft away. Bottles being smashed into a wheelie bin inches from our table. Only enough room to squeeze out one side of the table next to the fridges as a other table was right against us. (See pictures) The food was good. Kids meals great value. Had to take my sons steak to another table under a light to cut it. The restaurant was half empty so it's not like we had to be seated so poorly

Great club by the Bay. Worth a visit

My wife and I usually have lunch on the deck. Beautiful Outlook! Great food! Plus they've got Reschs on tap

Didn't think this club could get worse, had numerous bad experiences here, each time hoping it would be better than last time. But no. After driving across the bridge, turned up last night with a group of 4 for dinner, Didn't ring because all you get is a recording. Only to find renovations taking up a lot of room, food ordering moved to outside with a line up and dirty tables. So we saw other people leaving as soon as they walked in. So we left too, went to another venue on the other side of bridge and got better service, clean tables and better food.

Seafood platter $130! Hot food was Luke warm. Bugs were chewy. Birds liked the mussels that we told staff we didn't want. .Very disappointing birthday lunch . Better off buying a few meals and sharing. Would have told staff had they enquired about our meal.

Apparently the club is about to undergo a remodel and things are a little topsy turvy. The deck is a lovely spot to watch the sun set, tick. Drinks were served cold in cold glasses, tick. We shared the crab cakes for entree and these were served with a lovely spicy sauce and some mixed leaves, tick. We both ordered the seafood chowder for our mains and were extremely disappointed, X. Described as 'creamy seafood and bacon' this $35 meal had an oversized roll with a few pieces of fish, 2 prawns, several little calamari, one tiny muscle a few corn kernals and nothing else. Wouldn't recommend this dish. Salt and pepper shakers filled with rice and no salt or pepper, even tried them from table next to us. Staff very pleasant.

We had our wedding at the MBBC on Saturday, 27 July 2024. We booked the deck and restaurant for the afternoon ceremony and for our wedding cocktail party. Seline, the functions coordinator, was so helpful from the start of our planning. We had platters and canapes throughout the night, which were delicious. We had a lot of dietaries and the Chef and Seline were helpful to ensure everyone had something to eat. Thank you to Seline and staff for great service and helping us to have the best wedding day. Location is superb, and we love it at the MBBC.

Enjoy a meal on the deck overlocking the Scarborough marina…. Table service available …..seafood is of course the specialty. Bookings required especially on weekends. Nice spot!

Great place great food and service

Lovely food in lovely surroundings out on the deck.

For lunch today I had the seafood medley. Wo Los of fresh seafood including morten bay bug in a delicious sauce. Yummy 😋

Had a meal over looking the marina, so nice.
