We tried the brunch menu that had unique options more so on the fine dining style. Presentation and taste of the food was very nice and staff being very attentive and friendly. We had the Muffins which were different to any other halal place with the short rib the star of the show. We also had Sweet duchess waffle which was exceptionally delicious. This is a family friendly restaurant with a lovely vibe. Everything is halal including the atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant and will return to try other things on the menu.

Came here for roast dinner. Got the shank and the Mrs got the rack 5/5. Crumble dessert 5/5. Drinks 4/5. Taco starters 2/5. Starters were my only let down. Everything in total was around £110-120 for two.

Such a nice restaurant! Great food they deserve more recognition! The rib eye steak was the best steak I’ve honestly ever had. Lamb shank and beef ribs were also tasty. Good service to top of off

I literally rarely leave reviews but I love this place and everything about it so hear me out. Firstly, this is my 3rd time here and the food just keeps getting better. The dessert selection is beautiful and the food tastes so great. I wanted to specifically highlight that the staff here are so incredibly kind. I always book before I go (please make sure you make a reservation to avoid disappointment) but yesterday I was in the area and popped in. I didn't have a reservation and they were so busy but still gave us a seat. Alex, the manager here is so kind and hardworking. He is attentive to every customers need which is so difficult when it's really busy and stressful but he makes every customer feel important. I wanted to mention something else that's worth noting. Most restaurants nowadays are so incredibly loud with music playing but Meli Melo is such a calm, safe space. They play athkar and it's a really great halal environment if you're Muslim. PLEASE GO!!!!

Food was amazing!

Does not operate accordingly to its opening hours. Attended on a Saturday for brunch for the shutters to be down with no sign of updated hours. Poor service.

Roast was super good and also halal. Lamb literally fell of the bone. Even the brussel sprouts were pretty good (and I hate them usually) I recommend the red juice. Friend said tropical juice needed a mix but was good as well. Gluten free friend said gf yorkshire puddings were good and stayed soft. Service was amazing, they saw we needed a charging point and immediately offered us a seat near one. Remembered we were the gluten free reservation, gave an extra gf yorkshire pudding because the first was abit small. Seated quickly, recieved food quickly. Atmosphere wise it was pretty, warm, quiet. Definitely coming back to show some others how good it is!

The best halal roast I've had! Really enjoyed the sirloin roast beef which had perfect flavours but i'd say the portions could be bigger for the price. Two roast potatoes are not enough! My husband got the burger and was not disappointed although slightly on the sweet side. The tiger fries are also a must! If you fancy delicious fine dining then give Meli Melo a go :)

The food was absolutely amazing. The culmination of textures and flavours was sensational. The ambience was impeccable. I loved the no music and no alcohol and everything I ate and drank was great. I had the salmon, a white chocolate matcha and crumble. My husband’s short rib was also fantastic. This place is an actual treasure. The best dining out experience I’ve had in a long time. No gimmicks no fire throwing, just works class food. I will be back. Such a refreshing dining experience.

Bang on burger and fries. I had the Super Saiyan burger. Lots and lots of crispy onions to give the burger that crunch that is usually missed in them. The red pepper chutney gave it a level of sweetness that you did not know you wanted. Very very good. I also had the tiger fries which are basically loaded fries with shredded lamb, cheese and 2 phenomenal sauces: black garlic and scotch bonnet. There was also some onion jam in there. Wow. Amazing fries. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious, so many new flavours so that made it memorable and all uniquely curated on your plate but the atmosphere was lacking. The decor is pretty soulless and there was no music either.

WoW! Just WoW and we only had desserts and cocktails. The interior decor creates a unique feel with a mismatched element combination of brick, metal and wood. Yet it delivers an elegance of warmth with the blue and orange comfortable seating and soft lighting. Not only was this experience a feast for the eyes but the combination of flavour was a unique experience in itself. Chef definitely knows what works! For desserts we ordered the Almost Tiramisu and Hot Chocolate Tart. For cocktails we went with For Her and Strawberry Daiquiri. The Almost Tiramisu was exceptional with the addition of a light vanilla mousse which complimented the coffee cream and chocolate brownie perfectly. The Chocolate Tart oozed with melted chocolate and went perfectly with the refreshing ice cream. Reservations are required. The staff are wonderful and very knowledgable about what’s on the menu. In addition zero alcohol is served and alcohol is not allowed on the premises. There is a very good sized prayer area too. Will be updating this review once I’ve had the mains! This place is definitely one to look out for.

lovely food it's a shame the service and staff really ruin it. we were promised complimentary dessert but never received. also the staff never came round once to check if we were okay with the food etc. service was really lacking and trying to get the attention of the waiter and waitress was an absolute mission and they would just avoid eye contact and only speak to each other. as soon as we entered the restaurant the girls at the bar area were very odd, we weren't welcomed/greeted by them and given looks as if we don't belong here! even on our way out no workers even gave us a "goodbye" or "thanks for coming" completely ignored as we left the restaurant even by people at the bar area/front of house. definitely recommend replacing these individuals with more personable and friendly people as it's so off putting. ruined the entire experience even though the food was delicious.

Excellent food quality.

Amazing roasts for a great price. The chicken is tasty, and the presentation is immaculate. They are really kid friendly aswell and the staff are really efficient.
