I was first impressed by the cleanliness of the office and then by how proficient the staff were with respect to their “first timers” intake process.
Dr. Higgins is exactly who I have been searching for my entire adult life. She keenly listened to understand exactly what I wanted done and within a short period of time had a game plan established to achieve my stated objective. She accomplished this while also providing me a level of comfort I’ve never experienced with another doctor. If asked to use adjectives to characterize Dr. Higgins, I would say efficiency and effectiveness!

I love Metropolis dermatology's DTLA. Modern and fast . It’s close to my home. All I have to do is walk out my high-rise building across the street. I always grab a cup of coffee 9 AM out the door . Their hours are perfect for the working class. Julia Berman is the best. She young and Energetic. ❤️❤️💋💋💋💋love this place

Been going here for a while and used to see Dr Park, but he ended up going to Kaiser. I still come and see Dr Wang and he is the absolute best and is always super attentive to my needs. He’s helped get my dermatitis under control and i’m super thankful for him, he’s also done a few mole biopsies for me and is always very professional!

As a long time patient of metropolis dermatology, I have had the opportunity to meet many of the staff members. Each member has been extremely courteous and helpful. Each doctor that has cared for me, has been extremely knowledgeable, each with great bedside manners. They're combined efforts with staff members make each appointment a positive experience. I am very thankful to each member of this facility.

They lied about the copay. Very evasive, then of course two 3weeks later their invasive Klara and third party are going on the offense to collect massive bill , which has nothing to do with the copay they mentioned in the lobby before the visit.

My visit with Dr. Casey Lubner was very pleasant. She was very attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns and address them. The entire visit was smooth from start to finish. The front desk was welcoming and the medical assistant was proficient in preparing me for my visit. I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment time and was seen promptly after I checked in. Parking was pretty convenient; parked at the garage at 833 S Flower St for $15 and walked over.

I live in WEHO and I literally drive to DTLA (which I hate doing) for one reason and that reason is Julia Berman the PA at this location. She is AWESOME. Not only does she have an outstanding bedside manner, but she listens, is very constructive, and explains everything thoroughly so you understand all your options. She really works with you to make sure you’re comfortable with the plan and clearly wants to help her patients. She also remembers who you are and things about you and acts prepared like she actually read your chart. I’ve been frustrated with dermatology treatments that don’t work for years, and am finally making some progress with her!! We always chat about books when I go in for treatments and I feel as though my care is so safe (and actually working!!) in her hands. 10/10 would recommend.

Look no further, Dr. James Wang truly is the best of the best in the world of dermatology. I have been seeing him for years since he opened his first office in DTLA, and he has since expanded all across the city, a true testament to his expertise. As a healthcare provider, I admire his professionalism and keen attention to detail. On top of that, his office is state of the art - modern, clean, and with absolutely incredible views of DTLA to boot. Moreover, communication and appointment scheduling via their messaging portal could not be easier. My experience with Dr. Wang and his entire team has been nothing short of fantastic, and I continue to refer friends and family to him to this day. Thank you, Dr. Wang!

i’ve been coming here for a while. i particularly like dr Higgins, she’s great! i’ve seen a lot of derms over the years, and can confidently say dr wang and dr higgins are excellent: modern doctors who keep up to date with the latest, have great bedside manner (good listeners). The office is also easy to communicate with and they have online scheduling.

Staff and doctor are super friendly! After some scalp injections I was feeling nauseous and the doctor/staff were very attentive to provide cookies and apple juice which I’m very grateful for. I’ve gone to 2 different dermatologists in the area and will for sure be coming back to this location.

I haven’t been to the dermatologist since I was a teenager and a friend recently got a skin cancer diagnosis, so I made back to back appts for my partner and I to get skin checks. This was such an efficient office- the building is extremely secure while being conveniently close to 7th St Metro Station- we took the train. The check in process was easy and all of the medical paperwork was digital which made it feel much less daunting as a first time patient. I got in before my appt time and the PA who did the skin check was professional and approachable and made sure my questions were asked. The office was very clean and the staff were kind. We found them on ZocDoc and highly recommend!
