The best AC Company I have had the honor to service my home AC. Above and Beyond to say the least. Dustin the technician drove to Orlando to get the part he needed. He was the total solution and addressed all the issues with the unit. My wife has recently had open heart surgery and in this heat wave I considered the AC problem a life-threatening event. I must add that other companies informed me that the unit was not in warranty and did not honor their appointments. They checked and the warranty and was good until 2029. A savings of 2,000. Beware of the other experts.

Just moved to the area and an HVAC friend gave me this company as a recommendation. Ryan came out and was awesome. He showed me all the procedures and maintenance tasks I was unaware needed to be done to maintain an efficient system. By far the easiest and most stress free maintenance call. He even gave me lots of ideas for local places to take my 3 kids.

Merritt Island Air and Heat (MIA&H) continue to treat us like their own family. They service two properties. We refer to the tech who services the Cocoa property as "Saint Jim." Not only is "Jim" a first-rate technician, but he is also empathetic and truly "family" to us. We are very fortunate to have MIA&H service our A/C and highly recommend them. Their office staff are also responsive, helpful and friendly. We have found Merritt Island Air and Heat (MIA&H) to have outstanding customer service (Kathi and Billie) and excellent technicians (Jim, Dalton, and Ryan). Our A/C stopped working at 3 PM. Called MIA&H, spoke to Kathi, Ryan was on the doorstep at 8:30 AM, resolved the problem (a clogged discharge drain pipe), verified the A/C was working properly, explained the problem, like a teacher to a pupil. The techs are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We highly recommend MIA&H. They are the best in the business and truly treat the customer like family.

Had company X come over to troubleshoot our system. Many things wrong. The good news was it was under warranty. The bad news is it took company X 2 weeks to "not fix it" and suggested we call someone who "is properly trained on Trane AC's " We called Merritt Island Air and Heat and talked to Mark. Mark tells me not only was this going to be no problem to straighten out ( i was dubious but...) he has the perfect tech to put on it. Ryan was the tech and came out and solved it in less than a hour out the door. Two weeks of suffering in the heat and solved in a flinch and at a great price too! Was totally worth it at double the cost. Merritt island Air and Heat is my NEW go to company! This review was not encouraged by the company but i was so impressed by their professionalism, I just had to convey my satisfaction ( and relief! ).

What great people, they worked in lightning rain to get the job done! They go well and above what most of us are like yea no. This is a great business and worth the call over others. That’s my opinion and my experience

I am so pleased with the initial scheduling with Kathy, she was kind and understanding! My air handler was leaking badly, I tried to “flush it” myself, time for professionals! Jim arrived and was a master of his craft. He seemed to know from the onset what to do, fixed the issue and explained everything to me! I’m so thankful for such an honest company! I highly recommend them to anyone that has AC issues! A+++++

I had my compressor shutdown last night. I called Merritt Island Air & Heat to see if I could get after-hours service as sitting in an 85+ degree house overnight was going to be miserable. Even though I was not a current customer, their technician Jim responded almost immediately. He stated that he was finishing another call and could be at my house in about 30 minutes. He showed up as promised and looked at the unit to see what caused the issue. During the diagnostic process, the compressor started working again. He then looked over a couple of other possible causes, but we could find any. I am very pleased with the support I got from MI Air & Heat! I was able to be confident that certain components were not the cause, but rather that the age of the unit was the root cause. I was also able to sleep nice and cool.... Thanks again Jim, your support was very much appreciated.

I have a big trust issue with this company. I was told I could have an AC installed in a couple of weeks and this was on June 9th. After signing the contract and the agreement then I was told I have to wait 4 months for FAA approval.. I called up several other air conditioning facilities and they said they never heard of such a thing I even called the FAA and I spoke to a gentleman for 20 minutes and they told me it's not about the AC unit but it's about the crane. He checked my location and said We did not need or require FAA clearance because we are not in the flight pattern. But because I believe our landlord has an arrangement with Merritt Island and air we're still awaiting FAA approval. We are directly across from health first medical group and yet buildings by health first medical group and other buildings near by our facility do not require FAA clearance for a Crane. Only Merritt Island Air does because they probably do not have the manpower to install a new AC unit or some other reason I'm still unclear of that. So my opinion is I would never call them for personal use I would never call them or recommend them for a friend a neighbor a relative. I would certainly recommend them for someone I dislike.

They've come out and saved me life from certain death due to equator like heat twice. If I could give them 20 stars, I would. The tech is knowledgeable and customer friendly. His name escapes me now but he's a friggin superhero.

Web page says they have 24/7 service. They do not. I reached out to them around 9pm. Tech did return my call at 9:39 but said he could not make it out until the afternoon of the next day. I understand this man probably worked a hard day. But do not offer 24/7 service if it's not available.

They sent a service tech who determined that I need a coil replacement. He said it was going to be a big job and that unit would need to be uninstalled to preform the coil replacement. I never heard from them again! After paying for a service call I expected a call back. I assume the job was too difficult for them!

We called Merritt Island Air &Heat for a second opinion about our 6 year old Trane unit. The company that installed our unit told us we needed to replace our condenser for $5k, which was really upsetting considering the low age of the unit and the fact that we had spent $9k for it. Merritt Island Air & Heat evaluated our system and found, that we only needed to replace the compressor which was still covered under warranty. What a BIG difference cost wise! We are so happy that we called them!

We have used Merritt Island AC for all our needs for the past 5 years and have not been disappointed. From AC service, reducting our house to new install, they are always professional, with a fair price for the work performed.

Merritt Island Air & Heat to the RESCUE! I have been with MIA since 2016 and once again they have shown stellar service. This morning I had an error code on my A/C Unit. I contacted MIA and even though they were short staffed, they were able to dispatch a technician who came out quickly, diagnosed and was able to pick up the part needed for repair. I have air back on same day! Much thanks to Kathy in service and Dustin, my Tech!! Very professional, with great attitudes and service. Very unusual in this day and age. KUDOS!!

Everything was excellent with one exception. The external A/C unit leaks a great deal of condensation/ water - not the drain, but the unit itself. That concerns me because it is unsightly (lots of mold and water); and it will cause the unit itself to corrode prematurely. When I complained, I was told, “That’s normal” and the issue was not addressed. (Unfortunately I had already paid the bill.)
