Michael provided estate planning advice for me. Michael Doctors is an incredibly patient and professional advisor, who carefully explains intricate elements of financial services in an engaging way. Being based in East Devon, having a local financial specialist has been reassuring and I’d definitely recommend him.

Michael came up with some very important points to consider for my will which had not been suggested by a solicitor for my previous will. He also introduced me to the concept of trusts and helped me understand how I can make things easier for my children to manage my estate when I die, or if I become unable to make decisions myself. Michael offers excellent customer service and was extremely patient with my endless questions.

I had been looking for advice on inheritance planning and after having no success with solicitors and IFA’s, was fortunate to find Michael Doctors. He was able to give me enough information about my situation in an initial phone call, that I was happy to quickly arrange a face-to-face meeting. We contacted Michael Doctors to get some advice about making a Will. We don't have one and as we're both getting a bit long in the tooth, really thought we needed to sort this out. Michael was very helpful and whilst we met up remotely, we found that he is very well informed and we liked his natural, warm style. Michael was able to let us know all about making a Will, and to be honest it was all very straightforward. He was also able to advise us about other services which may be useful, and in fact next year we will also take out the 'Protective Property Trust' and 'Lasting Powers of Attorney.' We both feel this will be something that will help our children in the future as well as each other. Just getting everything in place so that we can get on with our lives.
