The room is cramped and has no window. The staff asked and answered questions in poor English. The important thing was that the air conditioning in the room could not be adjusted independently. It's cold from the hotel's central area. The cooling temperature was set to 27 degrees Celsius, which was very hot. The hotel sent a technician up to take a look, but the technician didn't speak English at all. He could only point his finger at the small fan at the foot of the bed. It's like saying to turn on that fan. In conclusion, you must stay in a room with a temperature in the morning. With temperatures as high as 29 degrees Celsius!?! Cleanliness, facilities, services, prices, everything looks terrible.

Not friendly to American tourists. Front desk first said we aren't allowed to use storage lockers, then told us it's 200 dollar to use it. IF YOUR A TOURIST DO NOT STAY HERE

Despite the overwhelming bad reviews, my stay in Migliore Myeongdong was surprisingly pleasant.
The check-in was fast, prepare your credit card and passport for seamless process.
The room was dated but fairly clean. The bed sheet is clean and I slept very well for my 7 days stay! My advice is to book bigger room with windows or 3 person room.. They have a business room which is inside cabin. Might be too hot for summer but for spring it was good. You can open a window for added coolness but I have no concerns at all with the air conditioner.
The staff in front desk and cleaning ladies are kind and polite. They have a minimart on 3rd floor which is very convenient! And one elevator away from the busy Myeongdong street.
Will come again for the good value of money.

The hotel was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! It was dirty! The carpet was full of hair! You can see 'balls of hair" on the floor. Never again! There are a lot of cheaper and much cleaner accommodations to stay at.

3日間で4人で宿泊のためファミリールームを予約。まさかのシンクが落ちてた。しかも初日からお風呂に髪の毛だらけ。冷水シャワー。アメニティーなし!
部屋を変えてくれといったら満室でむり。変えるとしても小さい部屋。いやいや、成人4人をダブルベッドの部屋に入れるの?www
小さい部屋になるなら、差額だけでも返金してほしいといったら、「上司が絶対に返金しないと言っているからしない」
結局、3泊で90000円のところ、狭い部屋になりましたが返金してもらえませんでした。それどころか、すみませんの一言も無い。
外国とか、そういうこと一切関係なく人としてダメなホテル。経営方針も社員教育も、「立地がいいからなにしても部屋が売れるので客なんか適当にあしらえばいい」という方針なのでしょう。
いくら立地が良くても、シンクが落ち、冷水シャワーで虫がいる愛想が悪くて割高なホテルに泊まる必要はない。絶対やめてください。せっかくの旅が台無しになります。明洞にも他にホテルはあるので探しましょう。

If you're looking to stay near the iconic Myeongdong area then this is the place for you! The hotel is 1 minute from the popular night market and shopping. The hotel checkin is located on the 3rd floor and you have to queue up downstairs in the lobby. When we arrived Friday evening, there was a tour bus that dropped off a ton of people and we were standing in line for the elevator for 5-10 minutes. Checkin was quick and we were off to our room! The room itself is a little dated, the beds were firm, and the bathroom smelt like smeared urine so I had to spray lysol and double clean the bathroom to mask the smell. The bathtub was elevated off the ground so please be careful, I almost slipped a few times. It was affordable and on the main road so it was easy to catch a taxi. Not sure if I'll stay here again, but definitely great for budget travelers! Overall a 6/10. Happy Journeys ✌️
