We are first time buyers so we have no other conveyancing experience to compare to, but MJP have been amazing so far for us. The online portal is a bit overwhelming at first with all the information, but once you get to grips with it the communication is very transparent, updates are almost daily, responses very quick (within a few hours typically) and things seem to be moving along as fast as possible. They also seem to have picked up on small details about the property we are buying and raised relevant enquiries. They very quickly turned things around to meet an exchange date we and the rest of the chain requested. Would definitely recommend and use again! After completion our estate agent even commented on how good they had been and on the ball, and that they were going to recommend them in the future too

Spoke to a lovely lady called Sharon who outfitted me with a quote, and later the onboarding manager Dominic who was initially very helpful with answering my questions and alleviating some concerns. The mortgage handling fee was swallowed in my initial quote, however when my circumstances changed to no longer needing a mortgage and moving to a cash buy with extra giftor, Dominic refused to swallow the extra giftor element despite no longer needing to handle the mortgage aspect. Whereas Dominic had previously outlined his reasoning with my questions in a fantastically patient manner, he became suprisingly abrupt and rude over the phone when what we considered an entirely reasonable request was made. We found his obstinacy distasteful at this point as he hadn't even offered his reasoning, and we didn't want to begin such an important relationship on such a sour and meager note.

As as first time buyer not really sure of the process, I found MJP to be helpful, knowledgeable and professional at all times. Online communication and access to all documents really suited me and worked well. MJP answered all queries extremely quickly, usually within an hour or two. I have been really pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I couldn't recommend MJP enough! I started my conveyencing process with another company, who I had to dis-instruct. MJP did more in 6 hours than the previous company did in 6 weeks. Communication is amazing, a really helpful team, the portal is super helpful and they even come back super quickly after a phone call and detail everything you've discussed. I will use them for everything !

Had a great experience with a house purchase with MJP. Great communication and transparency in the process, with regular updates on the Portal for any events, changes etc. Very easy to raise queries and responses were always prompt and helpful. All activities were always completed in a timely manner and there was never any delay from their end throughout the process. Would recommend.

There aren't many firms I would recommend, but I would quite happily recommend MJP Conveyancing to anyone. They were extremely efficient, quick, and helpful. The whole team was absolutely brilliant (we used them to sell and purchase). I would definitely instruct them again!

MJP solicitors have been excellent in leading us through the buying process. They have been rigorous in ensuring we get the best possible outcomes in each inquiry which was asked. As FTBs we found the whole process very confusing and we asked plenty of questions which MJP were happy to answer even if they may have seemed silly.

As a first time buyer this really helped us with keeping all our documents and payments in one place. Very happy with MJP’s service! Bought our first house through them and they were extremely helpful, thorough, efficient and quick. Kept really good communication through the entire process, anytime we wanted a call or had questions, they were quick to attend to us. All of this at a really good price too! If I could give 10 stars, I would. MJP have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Usually, purchasing a house is a very stressful and taxing experience. This was definitely not the case this time around! MJP were quick, efficient, organised, clear and concise with everything they did on this sale for us. The online portal is amazing - it is easy to use and keeps you continuously updated throughout the process. I never once felt that I was waiting for them to get back to me or wondering what was going on. I always felt well informed and up to date which is such a huge thing when going through this process. Because of MJP, our house purchase experience has been a really easy, stress free, positive experience and I cannot recommend them enough. They’re worth every penny!

Shockingly awful conveyancer used by my buyer. They have dragged the whole process out and are very unresponsive to seller's solictors. They don't answer the phone and have no consistency managing the process. Avoid!

As a FTB at times I could have done with a little more information but MJP did provide very speedy responses. The portal is easy to use and a good way of keeping all information in one place. The exchange team are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this company as long as you have a bit of common sense or know the house buying process. You will also need to be au fait with using technology.

I would highly recommend this company. From the very beginning they were helpful right through to completion. Very easy to communicate with and always prompt replies. Don't be concerned it is online.. it didn't cause us any hassle, in fact it was probably easier than dealing with a “high-street” company.

As a first time buyer I was initially hesitant with MJP as they were online only, I read the reviews both here and trust pilot and went ahead. I'm so glad I did, honestly they've been great, they're quick with responses, every time I heard back within 4 hours or by 9am the next working day. They're extremely thorough and efficient, and yet over a grand cheaper than the conveyancing services my estate agent attempted to sell me. Will definitely use again next time. Thanks MJP!
