Modern Landscaping just completed a job for me. They were professional, punctual, and friendly - very easy to deal with and their work is exceptional! We have new granite steps, a walkway, a beautiful stone wall with lights. I highly recommend Jay, Mark and crew. You won’t be disappointed!

Jay, Mark and the crew did a phenomenal job for our back steps, patio, fire pit, and driveway. They transformed our backyard into a beautiful peaceful haven. The team was neat, clean and professional. They were consistently on time. They were very personable, a pleasure to work with, and provided explanations when needed. I have interviewed a lot of local landscapers and Jay was the one that really stood out. He had a vision and came up with a great design for me that’s above and beyond what I asked for. So impressed with his design abilities and honesty. When his team (Mark, Mike and Chris) came out, they finished the project super quickly and everybody was extremely nice and professional. We recently used Modern landscaping to redesign our brick walkway. They did an exceptional job ,it looks and feels brand new. The workers were punctual and very respectful . I would use them again .

Jay and his team did a very fast and clean job, I had half of my front lawn destroyed along with my shrubs by another contractor who installed a failed drainage system but Jay walked me through the whole process and reassured me how to get it done right. No one likes to admit it but I was definitely one of the more complicated customers to work with because of my previous experience with another contractor so I was always skeptical but Jay was very patient, walked me through a beautiful landscaping design, proper buried downspout system, how to take care of my newly planted grass/shrubs and everything else that was on the scope of work. Communication was always great and felt that Jay really does care about his clients. This review is a bit late considering the work was done last fall but better late than never. Overall, I had a great experience and Jay and his team deserves a great review. I have hardscaping projects I'd like to do in the future and I'd definitely call Jay again when that time comes.

Jay and the Modern Landscaping are absolutely the best in the business. Had a new septic system installed and our backyard was a mess. Didn't know what to do, just knew we needed help. Jay showed up, walked through the space with us, heard what we were thinking, and came back with a perfect solution. Jay was timely, responsive, and did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. Mark and the install team were great - efficient, considerate and took care of every detail. Everyone we've had over since it's been completed has been blown away by the quality. For Jay's entire team-they were respectful, cleaned up, and did great work. I was very pleased with all of them and appreciated the way they treated me and my family. Jay worked incredibly closely with me throughout the project. He helped design it, was open to many changes, and spent time at the house to make sure any issues (there were very few) were resolved quickly and done in the right way. This was a big investment that came with many questions and conversations and Jay was open to that throughout. We had many options on who to work with and are very happy we selected Jay as he provided the quality and communication we were hoping for!

From the onset of the project Jay solicited how we planned to use the patio. He created several spectacular digital designs that allowed us to truly envision what they were going to build. Jay truly takes a passion in his designs and he is an artist in this regard. During the proposal process Jay broke down the project in several options with the associated pricing, which we really appreciated. The team at Modern Landscaping really cares about their projects and strives to ensure each part of the project is executed as close to perfect as possible. They are extremely meticulous and want to make sure every part of the project is done just right. It was truly a pleasure to work with Modern Landscaping on this project. We hired Jay and Modern Landscaping to renovate our backyard with new granite stairs, a new patio and garden beds. His team showed up on time every day, working professionally and efficiently even in some pretty cold weather. The patio looks great and will be a wonderful entertainment space for our family come spring when the lawn repair will be finished. Would hire again without hesitation

We had Modern Landscaping redo our existing deck and install a new stone patio. From the initial consult, Jay was great and extremely fast with email responses. Jay helped us envision what we wanted and provided computer imaging of the future look. (Which looks exactly as the final product). Once the work started, the crew was really friendly and respectful of the property while completing the work in under 2 weeks. Jay followed up several times including coming back weeks later to reseed some grass areas that didn’t grow as expected. I I highly recommend Modern for your future project.
