Frustrating experience. Took my wife's car here to plug a tire. They charged me $39 and completed it in about 10 minutes. So far so good. The next time she went to drive it, the tire was flat again. She took it back and they told her that plugs were temporary and that they couldn't see anything wrong with it. They suggested we take it to the dealership and get a new tire. They then tried to charge her an additional $39. She was appropriately frustrated with that surprise additional charge and they held the car hostage until they agreed to take $20. So we are now out $60 and have a tire that leaks air.

I am disappointed with the customer service at the mechanic. I will never go back again.

I came to this Exxon with a nearly flat tire and they repaired from the outside (which, since it was damaged and needed to be replaced wasn’t a horrible idea) but they did a “hatchet job” per my contact at a tire shop and they charged $45 for it - a less than 5 minute job done poorly and simply on the outside. Overpriced operation - or maybe I was naive not asking how much before it was done.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. Came here to get my car inspected and Chris went out of his way when my car failed inspection to get me for re-inspection. Very professional and timely. Will always come back.

Chris, the Owner, was amazing and completely honest after I took my car to him for a "second opinion." After taking it to an authorized Jeep Service Center for a free recall repair, they told me they noticed $3600 worth of "immediate" repairs I needed on my Jeep. I left them with a detailed inspection report complete with photos, and immediately drove to Montgomery Mall Exxon where they looked at my car and were appalled at how I was blatantly lied to. The photos they included in my report could NOT have been of my car. Everything they said I needed to repair was not true. I am so thankful there are still some honest businesses who don't just see dollar signs when a car comes in for a recall. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!! I will only take my car to Montgomery Mall Exxon for all its repairs.

Don’t do inspection here! The guy harassed me for having 2013 car which run 200k miles. He is talking about “be thankful that I felled you for 3 things” and he added alignment to be done after we talked and tried to get extra $120. This place charges $62 for re-inspection unlike other places. Don’t try it!

We received a price from a local Toyota dealership to replace the sway bar & assembly on my daughters ‘08 Camry. It cost me $80 just to have them look at it- & it took them about 10 minutes to diagnose & tell me $1500. Decided to try a ‘hometown garage’. We didn’t tell Chris about the prior diagnosis- just wanted to hear what he found. He provided the same diagnosis, but informed us it could be REPAIRED instead of replaced, at MUCH less the cost. Less than 2 hours later- Chris called that it was ready for pick up. No more bumping and the control and stability is back to normal. THANK YOU, CHRIS! For your honesty, speed and quality work! You now have a loyal customer & we will recommend you to others for sure!

Descent Service Station conveniently located... could use a bit more selection in convenient store... customer service is great ... helpful to those in need off highway 270... Prominently located at the corner of Westlake and democracy blvd

Great service by Chris and the staff at this mechanic shop! I've been bringing my car here for years and they continue to put life back into it to ensure I can truly "drive it into the ground." Very affordable pricing, especially for Bethesda, and Chris is very transparent with what I need and don't need to do.

Had a repair done to my car yesterday ,the mechanic was knowledgeable and the staff was friendly.Definitely recommend

I like this place because of the people are nice and sometimes I go in there to buy a couple things usually snacks. I don't recommend this place for fixing a car. The gas prices are higher than the Shell station right behind it. I still consider to be okay because the associates are friendly.

This past Monday, George and his team at the Montgomery Mall Exxon were great and providing checking out a used Virginia sports car our college-aged son was buying. The seller had a critically tight timeframe as he showed up at opening time 8am sharp because he needed to be dobe by 10am to be back in Virginia for an 11am business meeting. My husband and I only cared that my son's intended car was properly checked out by this mechanic shop to ensure it was not a bad purchase. George and his team managed both parties expectation deftly... they were fast and efficient, friendly and extremely professional. The car was checked for its ability to pass Maryland inspection, seller told of the repairs needed and recommended and seller had them done right there. The car got all the services right there at the Montgomery Mall Exxon and in 2 hours my son had a newly car that passed Maryland inspection. The seller got a sale and our son was able to go to Maryland DMV for his license plate and car registration in his name that same day! Everyone was happy! THANK YOU GEORGE AND MONTGOMERY MALL EXXON!
