Plassering av hotellet og parkeringsplassene er bra. Rommene store og betjeningen hyggelig og hjelpsom. Men: Vanskelig å sove etter kl. 05 grunnet høylytt prat og utvendig arbeid. morgenmaten var særdeles spartansk med smakløs ost, kald bacon og pølser, utvannet kaffe og ingen fiskepålegg. Restauranten minnet mest av alt om en middelmådig, statlig kantine. Eneste overraskelse var et rikelig utvalg av snaps svært tidlig om morgenen. Vi kommer neppe tilbake. 🤨👎

Fijn hotel op een gunstige locatie voor vertrek met boot naar Noorwegen of IJsland. Service is goed, vriendelijke mensen die graag helpen.

I however do not understand your comment about not beaing able to choose your menu and would like to hear more. We have an a la carte menu that has choices of starters, mains and desserts. We also offer a set 2 or 3 course menu at a speciel price, and of course if it was this your have chosen, then no there is no choice. I am sorry that our restaurant did not live up to your expections, but happy that it dit not affect your stay. Avoid in summer…. No aircon and rooms are a hot box. Trucks will wake you all night with the window open as they go to and from the port.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We can not do anything about the location of our hotel unfortunately but I beg to disagree about not being able to walk to the ports. Color Line terminal is a 20 minute walk from the hotel, and the fjord line and smyril line run a shuttle bus service from town, via our hotel to the ports, so the ports are easy accessable. You are very welcome to send me a mail at hotelchef@skagahotel.dk with comments about our breakfast that you say is miserable, with suggestions to what we can do better. We offer various breads, at least 3 types of cold meats, 2 types of cheese, yoghurts, fresh fruit, various cereals, scrambled egges, bacon, sausages and at least 3 types of juice.
