I was really looking forward to a good experience with Moving Ahead Services after seeing all of the positive reviews as I was moving at 9 months pregnant, but the experience was lackluster. 3 movers arrived on time when I agreed to 2 and I thought that meant it’d be a shorter move than estimated. Unfortunately, the extra mover was awful and did a good bit of damage to walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture because he was careless. Most things the singular gentleman moved were forced through doorways and drug across the floors and outside all while complaining that he wasn’t supposed to be there and just wanted to get his paycheck and be done. His moving went so much as to irreparably damage my dresser, desk, and file cabinet that were assessed at less than the $0.60/lbs because it was “appearance” damage. I even had upholstered furniture with grass stains. Who enjoys owning now ruined appearance furniture that they can’t replace or fix? In addition to the issues with the employee’s carelessness with my furniture, nothing was wrapped or blanketed except for my china case and they left all of the bolts to put the bunk bed back together at the old house. I didn’t want to pay for more of their time to retrieve them as I was already frustrated with how my items had been treated thus far and just wanted them to leave. So, my husband had to assemble the bunk beds that night and wash them as they were filthy from being unprotected in the moving truck. The driver of the truck was apologetic and frustrated as well about the other gentleman but it was too late for my furniture.

Blaze, Rob and Sam were wonderful! Could not have asked for better movers. Very pleased with everything. They made this a great experience.

We had three young gentlemen out to our place today to pack stuff up for the move tomorrow, All three of them were very professional and courteous they worked their butts off getting our stuff packed up, and then they'll be back tomorrow to move all of our stuff to our new residence. Update... They came back out the second day to move our stuff and two of the young gentlemen were different One was one of the same ones that came out for packing and once again they were all very professional they did a great job and very efficiently moved all of our stuff to our new residence.

Absolutely phenomenal and professional work all around, from top to bottom, from the initial quote until the time they left. The guys on my job deserve every dollar and more. They were incredibly patient, cordial, and communicative throughout the entire process. They couldn't have made the moving process easier.

If I could give more stars I would! VERY professional grade A service. I was a little hesitant with hiring movers because i have had horrible experiences prior. Pieces of furniture that i knew would be a hassle they moved with no problem and no damage to items. All items were wrapped efficiently and with care. Money was found that my son hid and the movers made sure to give it to my mom. The integrity spoke volumes!!! I honestly cannot give these guys enough praise and accolades. They made this process so easy and to top it all they were so friendly and kind. Thank you both so much!!!

Used their services for a business/commercial space move from Ohio to PA, movers were to start between 9-10am, they arrived at 9am ready to go. Movers were friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Scheduled this in under a week, great service (from top to bottom), and no one could beat their price. Highly recommend & will definitely use again!

I cannot say enough about how helpful Sam and John, from Moving Ahead Services, were when they came this month. They moved things in my home down to the basement and my recliner to my master bedroom. I was under a lot of pressure with the recent passing of my husband John. I felt too weak to handle all the responsibilities I had to do, especially removing all the medical equipment to our basement and the complete clean out of my office. There was nothing I could think of to do; then I remembered our moving company and phoned for help. They assigned two of the nicest, most courteous guys to help me with whatever I needed, and help they did. They also went over and beyond by bringing my office furniture, still in boxes, into the office. They also taped up the one large empty box in my garage as it was too large for me to handle for the trash service. I’m so appreciative of Moving Ahead Services for their gracious help based on our needs in the community. Thank you John and Sam for your invaluable help.

I had two guys move a mattress and a grandfather clock and they did a absolutely fabulous job. I would highly recommend moving ahead services.
