I tried scheduling a trial voice lesson here to see if it’s a good fit and to prepare for an audition I have coming up. I guess one of the forms I needed to fill out didn’t go through because when I went in for my lesson they didn’t have me on the calendar and said they’d contact me about rescheduling. They contacted me about setting up another lesson but wanted to schedule it on the day that I’d like to have the lessons going forward. I explained that because of my work schedule this wouldn’t work since I cannot commit to a specific time or day until I can put that time in as a time I’m unavailable for work. At first, they didn’t want to schedule my lesson on a different day than the day I’d usually do the lessons but eventually agreed after I explained the situation with my work schedule. This back and forth went on for about a month and finally I was able to reschedule my trial lesson. I filled out all the forms I was sent and even asked if I needed to do anything else to confirm my appointment to which I never got a response from Myriad. So yesterday when I went in for my lesson, the person at the front desk told me it wasn’t on the calendar again and asked about rescheduling again. Frustrated, I told them I wasn’t sure if I’d want to reschedule considering it took so long the first time and since I was seeking the lessons for audition prep. Later I got a text from Myriad asking about rescheduling to which I told them I wasn’t sure I’d want to reschedule (I attached this convo below) to which they accused me of yelling at their receptionist and that they weren’t interested in working with ME anymore.This kind of response to a series of issues that was completely their fault was so unprofessional and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a business try and be so petty in their response to an upset customer. I work at a coffee shop and even I would never talk to a customer like this, especially one that is already upset at my company’s inability to stay on top of things. Even my friend who recommended Myriad to me agrees that this situation is so annoying and has admitted to Myriad having faulty scheduling for her lessons as well. Overall, this situation is very disappointing and frustrating and I hope they take the time to advance their customer service and scheduling.
Edit: After seeing Myriad’s response I’d like to clarify some things. When I came into the studio a few days ago thinking I had a scheduled appointment, the front desk lady was and always has been very nice and tried her best to help me. She told me she didn’t have my appointment on the calendar again and momentarily left the room to check with another staff about something. She then told me they have a slot in about 20 minutes they could squeeze me into that I politely declined since I had another appointment during that time slot. She then asked about rescheduling to which I told her I was concerned that by the time I schedule another lesson, I wouldn’t have time to prep for the audition I wanted the lesson for. I then told her I was going to try and find a different studio to take lessons at because of my concerns with scheduling and wasn’t sure if I’d return. From what I remember, no other staff came into the room to “ask if the front desk staff was okay” and there was even a child waiting for their lessons in the lobby as well who didn’t seem alarmed or concerned about the situation either. I truly don’t understand why Myriad has taken such an aggressive approach to this situation and why they have repeatedly accused me or yelling at or harassing their employee since I don’t even think I raised my voice at her. I apologise if I seemed upset or aggravated but this really wasn’t the case and the fact that they keep saying things like this almost seems like they’re trying to discredit my review which is incredibly frustrating. I was very excited to take lessons here yet this situation has just made me so stressed and the fact I have to edit this review to defend myself so people believe what happened is so ridiculous. I hope this now can be put to rest…
We tried scheduling a trial lesson multiple times with McKenna over the past month. She kept canceling her trial lessons at the last minute, then just started showing up at the school without confirming new trial dates and submitting her payment information. Yesterday she showed up once again without properly scheduling a trial lesson and proceeded to berate our front desk administrator - so loudly that a teacher came out of their classroom to check that our administrator was OK. Our admin team finally got a hold of McKenna and informed her that her behavior towards our employee is unacceptable and she is banned from attending our school.

Teacher Michael E. is awesome! My 6 year old daughter started taking piano lessons with him a couple months ago and has fun at her lessons. He has a calm and engaging demeanor and motivates her to want to practice at home. I've noticed a vast improvement in rhythm and posture since she started lessons with him.

Mr. Russ is a great guitar teacher. He is very nice and patience. His knowledge of music theory and technique is invaluable to my kid. The most impressed thing is he really cares about what kind of music my kid like and encourage him to learn and practice them.

Teacher Chelsea is inspiring her students. My son takes her class and she is friendly and engaging from the first minute. He has always enjoyed interacting with Teacher Chelsea and puts the time and effort in to improve because he loves her class so much!

I love myriad music school and teacher Tak is one of my FAVORITE teachers. Teacher Tak has helped me compose my own music while also teaching me the piano book lesson songs. Teacher Tak is so patient and kind and he’s a teacher who will always offer support. He is a very skilled teacher who has helped me accomplish a lot of things. He has helped me on my journey to write my own music and he has supported me every step of the way. Teacher Tak is one of the best teachers ever and he has helped me learn so much about piano and music. He has given me lots of life advice and helped me with my piano journey throughout the years. I could never ask for a better teacher. I always look forward to my lessons with him and he always makes the classes super fun.

I would like to mention piano teacher Chelsea Dumas that is teaching our granddaughter Rachel. She is caring, wonderful, kind, understanding, motivating and patient.
On top of this, it's a great pleasure for me to be present in school during session. Front desk administrator and staff teachers are always cheerful and pleasant to talk to.

Teachers Tiffany (piano) , Amanda (dance) and Amitza (dance) are all amazing!
They have helped me grow as a musician and dancer. They teach me skills but leave room to grow creatively and following my own interests. Not to mention, they are all kind and patient.
