I do not recommend this company. I spoke to Laury back in may and she seemed so wonderful and confident that my move from FL to CT would be perfect and nothing will go wrong. I got what I thought was a great price and immediately went forward with them. Well let’s just say it was complete opposite of great. My stuff showed up broken and damaged. Their company that was moving the furniture in, dropped my dresser while going up the stairs. They didn’t even put my dining table together correctly. We had to tell them to redo it. I called nation wide, while they were still in the house, and Eric answered and said he will bring this to the claims department immediately. I call the next day, Rick (claims department) said he had no idea what I was talking about or who Eric was. Seriously? I go on to tell him all of the big pieces (dining room set, dressers, arm chairs, tv’s) all damaged or broken. My China was also broken. But he claims they couldn’t do anything about it since I packed that myself. This conversation takes place in June. After weeks of going back and forth they offer me $250 for all of the damage. I obviously say no. They come back with another offer with $450. I’m frustrated at this point. I don’t have the patience to have another conversation with this company. I take the insulting offer. Back in august!!! We are now in November and I still have not been paid!! I called Rick yesterday (11-3-24) and he’s giving me the “economy is low” and “we’re a small business” “it’s election year, no one is moving right now” card. Are you kidding me? I don’t buy it. “Florida’s number 1 mover” from their call line is burned in my brain from the amount of times I called. Pulling that, trying to make me feel sorry for him. I’m beyond annoyed. I do not think this check will ever be mailed to me. I do not recommend this company.

After our last post, Rick from Nationwide reached out immediately on a recorded line—something that had never happened before. He offered $500 to have the post taken down and tried to justify it by mentioning the company’s government contract and the need to be cautious about reviews. However, I made it clear that we weren't looking for a payoff. Instead, we wanted Nationwide to take responsibility for the mold on our furniture and belongings after they were returned from their so-called "climate-controlled" facility, as well as cover the cleaning services needed to address the blue, disintegrating furniture coverings that were spread all over our home. Our personal belongings were stored for 11 months. Rick became evasive after this.
There have been multiple email exchanges, with Rick continually stating he needed to consult with upper management. After waiting over 10 days for a response to one of my emails, I only received a reply after following up. Rick's initial offer for repairs was shockingly low—just $175 to cover the damage to our front door threshold, walls, baseboards, and doors. When we spoke to Derek, the repairman Rick had recommended, he estimated the real cost would be over $300, based on his memory from five months prior.
When we explained to Rick that we couldn’t trust Derek’s abilities and wanted to take the money as part of the claim to settle the matter, Rick refused. Instead, he offered the same $500, but this time towards the cleaning bill—the very same amount he had originally offered to get the post removed. Frankly, this offer felt more like an insult than a solution.
Furthermore, we have repeatedly mentioned in our emails that valuable fine jewelry from a deceased family member was missing, only to be told that missing items are not covered. At this point, we feel we have no choice but to pursue legal action to recover our losses.
We moved back into our home in April, but we are still dealing with these unresolved issues.
DO NOT USE this company. We also believe the government should reconsider its contract with them.

You had your furniture removed from your residence for renovation purposes. This is why it was stored in our warehouse for the length of time. Once it was delivered back, you immediately hired Stanley Steamer to clean your furniture and other areas of your home. You did not allow me to get a second quote for comparison. We have never had an issue with mold growth in our warehouse. We do not operate this way. We have routine inspections.

We needed a moving company last minute and Natiowide came through. They came with a crew of 7 men and two trucks. we were in and out the same day. Everything went smoothly, they packed evrything professinally and carefully since we had a lot of glass pieces.

From the first phone call to the last box packed they were great! I can't say enough positive things. I had exotic mounts and an 11' marlin to ship across country . They were so careful and the crate built for the marlin was perfect. Everything went so smooth. They were also very friendly and polite. I will definitely use again and highly recommend to anyone!!

We have been back in our house for over six months and have repeatedly requested a settlement for our damaged items. Following their instructions, we left the damaged items in our garage since the move, waiting for them to either repair or compensate us. That was back in April, and it’s now September. Despite being told that their storage units were climate-controlled, which we needed for our childrens allergies, we received our furniture with mold on our mattresses, couches, and chairs after being stored in their facility for nearly 11 months. We had to hire Stanley Steemer to steam clean everything just to make the furniture usable. Rick and his team refuse to pay the claim, even though we used one of their authorized repair vendors.
They were quick to contact us when setting up the move to earn their commission, but once it was time to service us, they disappeared. After the move, we tried contacting Yarin, who had been responsive until we signed the contract. Afterward, any requests would go unanswered for two weeks unless we threatened action. It’s been six months since we moved back and without the use of our garage, and our belongings were damaged by mold in their so-called climate-controlled facility, which must be set at 85 degrees. Nationwide Van Lines moved my household goods from ******* to my storage facility in *********, **. This was the WORST moving experience I have ever gone through! I was crystal clear in my communications with them that among my belongings to be moved was a baby grand piano and was told they had complete knowledge and full experience moving the piano - they only dispatched 2 men, which is completely ridiculous to handle an instrument that size. The 2 men appeared to grow tired so the packing became sloppy and what I considered careless. I called the office 2 times to complain.Upon completion of packing/loading I was advised to contact Nationwide to get delivery status, but I feel they should have been the ones to keep me informed not the other way around.Upon delivery to my temporary storage, the driver was smoking cigarettes INSIDE of the truck with my belongings inside. The workers had nothing to cut the tape from the blanket wrapped furniture and used lit cigarette lighters to break the packaging tape free from the wrapped blankets. The protective blankets were tattered with holes and finishing on some of the pieces of my furniture were damaged.Several of the boxes containing breakable items were clearly marked however they were brought in from the truck upside-down and placed in storage that way.I sent a registered/certified letter detailing the issues to Nationwide Van Lines President *************************. To make matters worse, because I am in transition and still house hunting, I wont know the full extent of the condition and/or damages to my belongings for a while.

Nationwide Van Lines is just amazing! Our coordinator Rick Vera walked us through everything and even got us booked almost last minute which I’m pretty sure most companies can’t do. On moving day, the movers arrived on time and packed everything in a timely manner. They were super friendly and kind. I couldn’t recommend Nationwide Van Lines enough!
