At first we went to the ticket office and we found out we need to pay something for parking and 33 pounds for bus transport plus access close to the monument. Then a very nice young lady adviced us to park our car in Larkhill and walk for around 15 minutes to Stonehenge. We parked on Willoughby Rd, at the intersection with Fargo Rd. The 15 minutes walk on a Country road between enclosed fields with sheep feeding free, was awesome. We got almost the same experience as the paid one, but just a few meters further. We couldn't walk between the stones anyway.

Stonehenge is soooooo far up on my Bucket List that it is hard to see it from the ground!! All the debating over the years as to what Stonehenge really is has made it almost surreal to me. I really hope that everyone that actually WANTS to visit Stonehenge actually gets a chance to go and spend a few days or a couple weeks over there checking it out!! Take care everyone!!
