After the pleasure and results that came from working with Rachel Kemiji, through Neighborly Senior Placement, I've stopped being cynical about the possibilities of excellence. She and her entire team were extraordinary. During extremely stressful circumstances, dealing with a crisis involving my sister-in-law, they stayed by our side every step of the way, guiding us with compassion, intelligence, integrity and expertise. Their levels of energy and commitment were astonishing. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Working with Ashley was fantastic. She was the only placement agent I spoke with who took the time to actually get to know my mom and went and saw her numerous times. Rachel Kemiji at neighborly senior placement helped a patient of mine and their family find an amazing respite care facility with such little notice!! As an in-home caregiver I was struggling to find any options through my own research. I reached out to Rachel just to see what’s available on her end and she had provided me with 3 different options within a couple of hours. Ashley Clark is an angel. If you have the opportunity to work with her, do not pass it up! She was my saving grace during an incredibly difficult time. I had been making endless phone calls on my own, trying to find assisted living facilities for my separated parents on an extremely limited budget. I was beginning to lose faith that this was a problem that could be solved. And then I was connected with Ashley, and everything changed. She is a wizard! She made magical properties that fit all our criteria appear out of thin air. She was endlessly patient and optimistic, and kept me going when I was close to giving up. Even when I kept changing the parameters on her, altering the budget, or introducing new variables like my father’s diabetes, she never got frustrated with me (even though it definitely would have been understandable)! She stayed laser-focused on the goal and kept the faith that we would make it work. And she went above and beyond to make that happen. She checked in on me on nights on weekends, making herself incredibly available to help. Then when we finally had a resolution, Ashley went to visit them in their new home to make sure they were settled in ok. She is just a consummate professional, amazing at what she does, and clearly driven by her compassion and kindness. I am beyond grateful to have been connected with Ashley! Ashley Clark of Neighborly Senior Placement has had a profound impact on my family at a time we directly needed a high level of coordinated assistance. My sister-in-law had complex foot surgery that resulted in her inability to return home to independent living. We did not know this until immediately after the surgery, and there was a small window of time to find a suitable location. Ashley was our hero - she immediately jumped to action and had thorough knowledge of potential locations both in SF and the surrounding areas. She was incredible at assessing my sister-in-laws quirks and personality to find a comfortable match, and personally escorted her on tours to evaluate possibilities. With her compassionate assistance we found an amazing place within four days! Having worked in the industry of older adult care I know the complexity of available beds, affordability, and the logistics of making this happen - and Ashley made it seem effortless. Her direct experience with her own family in care arrangements informs her empathy of the process, and she has a tireless can-do attitude. She was a gift to our family, and I will be forever grateful to her for her empathy and care at a vulnerable time in our lives.
