A hidden gem! Dr. Sharbash and the staff at Newport Beach Dental Center are impeccable. Everything from efficient scheduling, warm, clean welcome along with the utmost professional chair side manners, it’s very hard for me to trust any other team with my dental care. We are so blessed to have found them, best part is she treats my WHOLE family!

Dr. Laura Sharbash is incredible! She is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what's going on so there are no surprises. They are all so friendly and you feel you are a priority to them.

You will love Newport Beach Dental! She fixed my tooth where 4 other Dentists had failed. I also had my teeth cleaned a few weeks later and my teeth sparkle. Thank you so very much.

I absolutely love this family practice and highly recommend it to anyone! Friendly staff. The receptionists are very happy and kind. The kind hygienist is knowledgeable and always offers lip balm afterwards, both doctors are my favorite but she Gina makes me laugh every time I’m there! I don’t think I can find better dental care than this team!

Doctors Assaf are skilled and precision oriented dentist. They recently have done an implant for my wife and a crown for me. The results were simply great. They used a state of the art scanning machine to measure the crowns. Amazingly they fit perfectly without any adjustment. Also we appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

I love Newport Dental, As always Paige sets my visit off to a comfortable start and always puts a smile on my face. Love my dentist she’s got the soft touch with zero discomfort when she cleans my teeth, and she’s just a genuinely nice person, makes my sit in the chair at ease. I was travelling from Canada and my crown broke. I called Newport Beach Dental Center and Dr Gina Assad and her staff welcomed me in right away. Dr Assad was amazing in explaining what I needed to do and got my new Crown and it fit perfectly. Staff extremely friendly, helpful, caring and fun to be with. Thank you Dr Gina Assaf and staff. If I need a new crown I’m flying back to see you!!

First time patient and best experience ever! Dr. Gina Assaf and staff were very professional and patient from the beginning through the end of my check-up and X-rays. Also, I finally decided to get Invisalign with NBDC after putting it off for years not feeling comfortable with other dentist. I would HIGHLY recommend NBDC!

Dr. Gina Assaf and her staff are simply amazing! I was historically a dental work coward. Now, however, I look forward to going to the dentist regularly thanks to Dr. Gina Assaf and her staff! UPDATE 4/18/2022: Had another great experience the other day at NBDC! Paige took great care of me at the Front Desk, and Keri Hinkey RDH did a very thorough, effective, and pain-free cleaning! My first time to work with Keri, and I'm looking forward to working with her (and the other staff, of course) in the future. She was also highly effective in educating me about various aspects of dental care. Did I mention that I drive from my home in Oceanside (55ish mile drive) just to receive dental care at NBDC? I think that says it all! BELATED update from October 18, 2023: Had yet another great experience with the same crew! Consistent excellence is a great thing, keep up the great work!

I walked in with a missing front tooth & practically in tears with fear of the dentist period. I’ve always had a phobia of needles. Dr J Assaf consulted with me & gave me the most conservative method of treatment & we agreed to go with a temporary crown as I was traveling later in the week . He was so gentle with the injection that all I felt was a minimal prick. I will be following up with the permanent crown in about 2 weeks. I am so happy & I cannot stop smiling. The staff is amazing. Very informative and efficient. The office is immaculate and both Dr Gina & her Dad are FANTASTIC! My husband has now become a patient as well. I highly recommend Newport Beach Dental Center. I will be a patient forever!

AVOID!!! Unprofessional Billing Practices and Unnecessary Treatment Recommendations. I am having an awful experience with this practice that I feel compelled to share. My dental insurance provider covered the cost of my check-up treatment (which includes a discount the provider agrees to within the contract with the insurer), but the practice continues to insist on charging me directly for the discount amount, despite numerous attempts from both myself and the insurance company to explain this is incorrect. They have shown a complete lack of responsiveness, ignoring multiple attempts by my insurance provider and myself to clarify that the claim was paid in full. When the insurance check was issued, it was sent with the EOB explaining the discount levels and by cashing that they accept the contract with the insurer. They cannot then try to directly charge a patient for the offset amount they agreed to. Instead of addressing the issue, the practice has taken the extreme step of sending an erroneous debt to collection, causing unnecessary stress and frustration. What's even more concerning is their questionable diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Initially, they insisted that I needed thousands of dollars in dental work. Skeptical of this advice, I sought a second opinion from another dentist. To my relief, the second dentist confirmed that no such extensive treatment was necessary. It's disheartening to see a dental practice prioritize financial gains over the well-being and trust of their patients. This may well be a misunderstanding initially, but now it has been clearly explained to them in writing by my insurer and they are unresponsive and have yet to remove the collection notice. I will provide an update to this review when they respond to me or my insurers contact attempts and remove the erroneous debt from collection.
