We spent a fabulous day with Moises visiting Los Pueblos Blancos and Laguna de Apoyo, trying lots of local foods along the way.
Moises was very responsive and efficiently put together a bespoke tour for us.

Next Adventure Nicaragua was efficient and easy to communicate with. Our tour guide Eric was local to the island, having spent his whole life there. He was well educated in local flora and fauna and definitely loved the nature and animals on the island. We toured many of the local spots, had lunch in a local restaurant and definitely enjoyed our time on Ometepe. For that alone I would give the trip 5 stars. However, when the ferries were shut down due to wind and we realized we would unexpectedly have to spend the night on the island, Eric sprung into action, assisting us in finding rooms and making sure we were set for the night. The next morning he was back at our hostel at 5AM and successfully guided the 7 of us through the crowds and didn't stop working until we were on the first boat. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!

We’ve booked a Coffee-Tour in combination with a moderate hiking around the Mombacho Volcano.

The Guides were super fluent in english and easy to understand. Our Guide Moises made our experience really exciting and fun - my boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much! After the hike Moises took us to the white towns for a cheap but delicious lunch with the locals. Afterwards he took us to an elder Lady, a neighbour of him. The Lady showed us which Products she handcrafted out of Corn. Also we had a taste-testing there. After that he showed us a view-point where you can see the whole Apoyo-Lake. Also I have to mention, that he owns a Puckup-Truck, so you can decide if you want to sit inside or on the Pickup-platform for an extra adventure-feeling ;)
Before driving us back to our Hotel in Granada we did a little detour to his house. We got to know his 3 beautiful daughters, his wife and even dog.

If you look for something absolute authentic - contact Moises. He lets you experience a fun hike, with lots of knowledge about the wildlife and plants, shows you local food and the native living, and maybe you get to know his lovely family.

Moises (who is the owner of Next Adventure Nicaragua and will always be your tour guide) was amazing! We did the Tigrillo trail combined with the zipline. We paid more compared to the tour they were offering at our hostel but it was completly worth it! I want to give 6 stars instead of 5. He was right on time, taking care of us and we were in good hands. His English is great and he knows everything about the nature because he used to be a ranger at the national park. His knowledge of the plants is great and you can ask him anything. After the Volcano he asked us were we wanted to have lunch. We went to his hometown closeby Granada and had lunch first. Then we visit a local family and tasted local corn products. He asked us if it was okay to bring some of the products to his house and we all loved that! So we met his children. It felt very personal and it was nice to have a peek in his live. I can really recommend “Next Adventure Nicaragua”. El tour fue increible! La visita a la finca de café Miravalle muy interesante y la caminada por el volcan Mombacho (ruta del tigrillo) precioso! Merece mucho la pena, seguro lo recomiendo y más con Moises coml guia (el mejor!!!)

Our tour with Moises hiking and zip lining on Mombacho Volcano was the highlight of our trip to Nicaragua. You can book tours at the square in Granada but you absolutely will not get the experience you will get with Moises. He goes above and beyond. He picked us up from our hotel and even just chatting with him in the car ride was fun. He is kind, funny, knowledgeable, and wants you to have the best time. He also takes his guests on part of the volcano that other guides can’t access. Don’t mess around with other big tour companies!! Choose Moises and his guides! Thank you Moises. We are back in Canada and miss you already.

Completed two days with Moises doing the Mombacho Tigrillo trail and pueblos blancos one day and Ometepe the other day. He also organized our pickup and drop off for the airport in Managua with his associate Antonio who is very professional. The trips were excellent. Moises has a strong command of fluent English and provided great details and context for everywhere we went. From the scenery, to the food, to the journeys, he answered all of our questions. We had an awesome time exploring so many corners of Nicaragua with him. Highlights were definitely the views from the top of Mombacho and the Ojo de Agua in Ometepe. Will definitely book again in the future. For anyone who has a sense of adventure and getting off the beaten path, these tours are for you.

Moses provided a super unique and much appreciated experience. The Tigrillo Trail was an amazing hike and the ride from Granada made everything super convenient and well organized. He even helped us to get a locals meal in Granada after the hike was over. 10/10 recommend!

Next Adventure Nicaragua provides unforgettable experiences in Nicaragua. Doing the tours with them really brought our trip to the next level. We did multiple tours - the islets de Granada boat tour, coffee tour, Mombacho tour, and White towns tour. Each was spectacular. Moises was an amazing tour guide. Would recommend him over and over again. Felt super safe with him guiding us all over the country. Excited for our next adventure with him.

Our family of 4 did a 1.5 hour ziplining you through them, and it was awesome! They are super professional, we felt the safety equipment was top-notch, they made it very fun, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Definitely book this!

Moises was very helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure my dad and I were set for our trip. Communication was very easy and clear through WhatsApp. Moises even messaged on WhatsApp after the tours to see how they went, if he could do anything else, and make sure we were completely satisfied with our experience. He has years of experience and works incredibly hard.

For each tour we did, transportation was on time, safe, reliable, and with AC in the vehicles. Each tour was well worth the price. Booking with this company takes out the stress of planning, driving, navigating… so that you can actually enjoy it!

We had Maynor as a guide for the Ometepe tour meaning we spent over 12 hours together, and it was truly amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable, loves his job, and makes sure your needs and wants are met. He is very personable and will tell stories and take interest into your life. He also has years of experience, plenty of books/resources to enhance the tour, and takes pride in showing you the positives of his country. He made this full day tour so easy, relaxed, enjoyable, and informative.

Our group of 6 friends and family had an incredible time hiking the Crater Trail and I guide was extremely fun, friendly and knowledgeable. After enjoying the incredible views from the Crater Trail, our guide found a sloth sleeping in a tree nearby and called us over. The guides are very invested in making sure you get the most out of your tour. We followed that with the zip line circuit and our guides made us feel incredibly safe and well cared for. They were clearly knowledgeable and well trained for safety and their equipment was top of the line. One of them even took amazing photos and videos of our whole group. When we returned we enjoyed the most incredible iced coffee drinks and watched the sunset from the plantation. Outstanding service and incredible experience. 10 out of 10 for sure. :)
