NJ water and mold was fantastic on the day of our flood. They were polite and prompt in their response and they did an excellent job cleaning and drying our home as well as all of our belongings. I highly recommend them.

We had water damage in our basement. I had no idea what to do. I called another remediation and honestly they were not super helpful. I decided to call NJ Water & mold, spoke to Norma, and they had someone at my house within 2 hours. I had such a mess in the basement, but NJ Water & mold came and they were so nice. They didn’t even flinch, this was like a normal day for them. Next day, Dennis the owner called me, he was away on vacation, and called me to reassure me that they would take care of everything. He acknowledged how traumatizing it is to have water damage in our basement. He explained the insurance process better than anyone, and he assured me everything would be handled. His people came over the next day and honestly I didn’t even have to lift a finger, if I did it was because my husband wanted me to pack his items a certain way lol. They reorganized my garage to pack some items in there. I couldn’t even believe it, because I thought we had no space in the garage. They remediated the mold, and they did such a neat job removing the drywall. I am honestly so impressed with the job they did. Dennis has remained in touch with me and the insurance company.
Please don’t call any other company. NJ water & mold will be there for you and walk you through everything. So happy we went with them.

We have been using NJ WATER AND MOLD for many years. We have multiple commercial properties and unfortunately we have had multiple flooding events from hurricanes or burst pipes and even have had a fire. The team led by Dennis, the owner, is extremely responsive and unbelievably professional. They are extremely sensitive to finish spaces and do everything possible to protect your space and possessions. They are also super quick and respond 24/7 including multiple times in the middle of the night. I wish all of our contractors were like NJ WATER AND MOLD. Bob S , CEO The Bravitas Group

The crew that came to take care of the water damage in our basement was really good. However, the manager Dennis was very rude over the phone when in fact was on the wrong. Despite the good work done by the crew this experience didn't leave a good taste.
We can find no record of a Jill H in the last year of our job records. This is a false review - misinformation. We are asking Google to delete this review

I am so happy to have found NJ Mold & Water. Norma was great as she quickly took my information and Glen arrived about 2 hours later! Glen was professional and detailed with how they could help us. He provided a fair quote the very next morning!
My husband and I found another company who we agreed to hire, but they stopped returning our phone calls for an entire week, so when NJ Water and Mold told us they could come out the next morning it was music to our ears! They were very professional! The set up and immaculate clean up was just superb by the crew!
I hope we never need them again! But if you do, they are the ones to call!

I'm beyond grateful to NJ Water and Mold for being a lifesaver when our dishwasher went haywire and drenched our hardwood kitchen floors. The water had seeped in between the floors, causing an unpleasant smell and raised floorboards. But from the time I contacted them, the office and technicians were incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They showed up the same day, within two hours of my call, assessed the damage, and promised to restore our floors. They delivered on that promise! Our floors look as good as new now! We recently had quite a bit of water come down our basement wall during the last heavy and windy rainstorm and had water in an area pool up on the basement floor. I remembered my elderly in-laws used NJ water and Mold a few years back when their house caught fire, and how professional and courteous they were and how they took care of everything, which made my in-laws feel more at ease during the devastation. I was so relieved when I found I still had their number in my cell phone. I called them and they quickly showed up and took care of cleaning and drying up the area affected as well as some mold on the basement wall from prior water getting. They were quick, informative and reasonably priced. It was a great experience using them once again.

I contacted NJ Water & Mold recently for a storm that flooded my condo. It was devastating waking up at 6am and my house being covered in a layer of water. They answered and were at my house assessing damage and what to do in no time! I’m extremely appreciative of how quickly they were able to come and help.
They began the work right away and all of the technicians were helpful, kind and caring! It was a very stressful time for us and they helped keep us calm and knowledgeable about the situation and about what needed to be done and why. They were a pleasure working with. I would 10/10 recommend giving them a call!!

had some mold in my basement and reached out to nj water and mold. Extremely quick to respond, Ronnie came out and was extremely honest in his assessment. I appreciated his transparency and his knowledge. After receiving the quote I got many follow up calls asking if i had any questions/concerns and i appreciated their diligence. however, once I paid the invoice ALLL of that stopped. i paid my deposit, set a date for service was told they will come to my house between 9-930 but will call they night before to confirm. I never received any sort of confirmation that my booking was set, I never got a confirmation call the night before. The morning of service I called NJ water and mold to make sure that I'm still on the list as i never got a call, and was told yes. The technicians arrived AN HOUR late, but were extremely respectful and efficient. They did great work and explained everything they were doing which i appreciated. They left their equipment for 3 days.
I received a call from the office saying someone was going to come between 9-930 to pick up their equipment next day. I said no problem. The next day 9-930 comes and goes, by 0945 I call and say is anyone still coming?? I get a return call saying "the techs are running 20-30 minutes behind so they will be there soon..is that okay?" to which i said, theyre already 15 minutes late so does that mean theyll be here in 5-10 minutes ? because if its 30 minutes from now that 45 minutes late for the appointment. She said "theyre here at the office doing an errand and they will be there, youre about a halfhour away..is that okay?". So thats not even a 30 minute delay, its however long it takes to do "the errand" PLUS the 30 minute commute to my house. What exceptionally bothered me about this entire conversation was the woman kept asking "...is that okay?" to which i kept responding. "NO its not okay, I had other appointments I was missing because of this but it is what it is ". but she kept asking, "is that okay?" , almost like she wanted me to just say yes it was fine. but it wasnt. The techs didnt show up to my house until ** 1110 ** thats 1hr 40 mins past the appointment time.This lack of communication and accountability is absolutely unacceptable
I really wanted to like this company and rate them higher; the techs are great and knowledgable, Ronnie was fully transparent in his assessment which i respected,before signing contract I had a positive experience.
Its almost like once i signed the contract and put my deposit down, the company no longer cared about the exceptional service they led you to believe they deliver.
Even now , I havent paid the remainder of my invoice in a couple days (because life), and I have been getting emails and calls from them out of the wazoo. Would have loved this type of communication throughout my project and not when its just about money :)

i'm honestly extremely shocked and flabberghasted at the response NJ Water and mold posted. The duplicity and lack of accountability is absolutely appalling. So lets be clear:
1. "After the project was completed we gave you a call to see if you had any questions or concerns " -- completely false. I spoke to noone after the job was completed and I obviously did not say that response.
2. "but unfortunately had a water emergency that morning. We tried to contact you again via phone and text to reschedule" -- completely false. My phone did not ring once while I was waiting before I reached out. I received a text message THAT MORNING at 0726 stating technicians will be there between 9-930 . There was no other correspondence after that until I started calling asking the status. I have absolutely no problem with NJ Water and Mold being an emergency response first and foremost. But when i called to inquire the technicians status i was told "they are doing an errand HERE AT THE OFFICE" .
3. "We've been trying to get in touch with you via phone and a few text messages" -- true. all regarding the "friendly reminder" of my remaining invoice balance.

I called with an emergency and the team from NJ Water and Mold responded immediately. Explained the entire process of remiedsation and how to make an insurance claim. Everyone from the field representative, to the technicians and the office staff were helpful, responsive and caring. I highly recommend them. They were amazing during the entire process.

Can't say enough good things about NJ Water & Mold. From the first assessment of our house, the professionalism and kindheartedness of the folks who came to our home was evident. We had a few minor leaks from some thunderstorms in our area, and they helped us navigate the steps to get things sorted in the appropriate order (i.e. insurance, roofers, etc.) Honest and efficient, they got back to us with a quote, and it was easy to get an appointment scheduled with their office. When it came to the remediation itself, Glen and Leury were fantastic. They were clean and organized, using shoe covers and drop cloths around the areas where they were in and out of the house, sealed up the impacted areas, and helped diagnose/validate where the issues were coming from. Clean up and pick of equipment was fast and easy too.
It's hard to find reliable, competent and trustworthy service professionals and these folks are a shining example of the service and professionalism you hope to get with every company. My husband and I were so pleased with all the folks we interacted with from NJ Water and Mold and would recommend highly.

My pipe burst in my basement causing extreme flooding and NJ Water was at my property within 15 min to assess and get right to work with an army of people. Everyone was friendly and super easy to work with. Office admin was super patient with me for months during the tedious insurance process. They fully understand how these situations work.

I would not hire them again. I had a leak repaired that had caused some damage and potential mold. Aaron came out to do an estimate. I liked what he said and he had me sign a consent form on his iPad. *Do not do this. The forms are partially obscured on the iPad, so you are signing forms that are only partially visible. They billed my insurance directly but for a larger area than they remedied and never replaced the affected surface wall for which they billed. They are also masters of showing photos of someone "working" on the area but I had to laugh because when it showed the "completed work areas", they were on the other side from where the damage was. Finally, they wanted to return to pick up their equipment after a few days. I asked if I needed to be there. They said no, so my friend let them in. The woman in charge actually intimidated my friend into signing a form saying they picked up the equipment or they would not leave. The whole crew spoke only in Spanish which my friend didn't understand. The form my friend signed actually said a whole lot more than they implied when my friend called to tell me what was happening. My friend ended up signing a release stating they finished all of the work to my satisfaction which is a lot different than just picking up their equipment to tell their boss. Finally, I emailed Norma to ask when they would finish the job and they said I misunderstood what restoration means and I would be paying out of pocket for anything else and they were done. Overall, they did remediate the mold but the overblown footage of the area treated, the overly inflated bill to my insurance company, the repeated bait and switch/intimidation tactics with the forms, the way they left the walls and wood and finally how they told me to pay even more left me with a less than ideal impression of this company. I would not recommend. Call Roto-Rooter or someone else. Save yourself a lot of grief.
