I would not recommend Noonan to Landlords. They are polite and friendly however; this doesn’t excuse their poor performance as a property manager. When they rented out my property, they provided a copy of the tenancy agreement, but the terms were not correct and only one of two tenants had signed. When I raised this, they apologised and sent a second version of the agreement. The second version still contained incorrect terms and again, was only signed by one of two tenants. They apologised once more and provided a third version. The third version still had incorrect terms, but it was signed by both tenants. They finally got it right on the fourth version. Very poor quality control when it comes to reviewing important documents. When my tenant left, Noonan conducted an outgoing inspection and found that a window had been cracked which the tenant was liable. I instructed them to retain the cost of repair from the bond. Having not heard back for several weeks; I contacted them to check if the repair had been done only to find out that they didn’t retain the cost from the bond at all. They released the full bond to the tenant despite confirming they would retain the cost and arrange the repair. They then suggested trying to get the Strata to cover the cost. I rejected this outright and insisted they cover the cost as it was their mistake which they finally agreed. When my latest tenant gave notice, Noonan contacted me to ask if I would like them to market the property which I said yes. Having not heard anything for two weeks and noticing the property had not been advertised online, I contacted them for an update. At first, the property manager insisted that they had marketed the property. It was only when I requested copies of tenant applications that she finally conceded they had not in fact marketed the property despite being asked to do so some 16 days earlier. Instead of accepting that a mistake had been made, the property manager instead lied to me which is simply unethical. This led me to terminate them as managing agent. Finally, they scheduled an appointment with the tenant to complete an outgoing inspection and then didn’t show up. The tenant was left waiting for 30 minutes before deciding to leave. No phone call to say they were running late which I also consider unprofessional.

I have been waiting for 2 months for a repair and no action from this real state. Shower box glass is almost breaking causing injures and no follow ups with the owner at all.

I am very sad with this company since I was in a process with an agent who works for them and we applied for a house with one piece of information. After applying, they contacted me to change the information, telling me that it would no longer be a 6-month contract but a 12-month one. My husband and I accepted because we were very motivated by that house. Days went by and I did not receive any information. I had to call them to find out what was happening with my application and they told me that they still had no response from the owner of the house. Today I received an email telling me that the price I had initially applied was no longer the same but had already increased!!! I find this disrespectful. I do not understand why they act as if they want to give the house to one and what they are really doing is making one waste time to be able to apply to other houses.

Unfortunately I did not enjoy renting through this real estate agency - during my tenancy my agency sold their business to Noonan and just felt like a number after that. Several unprofessional conversations with aggressive staff members, suspicious conduct when vacating and trying to get the bond back. Trust was lost and had to disregard all properties managed by Noonan. Renters beware.
