Communication is absolutely abysmal, had a noisy unit for months now, went with them because their unit boasted a low noise level, have to send several emails to get a response that goes no where, calls go to admin who say someone will get back to you but no one ever does, if you purchase from here, pray nothing goes wrong.

Initially, I only left a rating since the company claimed they had no record of my order. However, I’ve decided to share the full experience.

I ordered a heating and cooling system and was assured it would be installed within three weeks. Once the deadline passed, I started following up, only to receive inconsistent responses from different team members, excuses ranging from the installer having an accident, searching for a new installer, compliance issues with the installer, waiting for product delivery, and some departments not answering calls at all. At the very least, they should have provided a consistent response.

Over the course of a month, I made at least 15 calls, but nothing changed. After 2.5 months of persistent follow-ups for another week, I finally managed to get my deposit refunded but even that required additional follow-ups.

This company is polite when taking orders but takes no responsibility once they have your money.

Hope, they will find my record now.

If I could give them a zero star review I would. Absolute disgrace of a company.
Sold me a package for 730 plus which included the 320lifre eneft unit plus a free relocation off 2 meters cause I wanted the unit moved. I had to pay an extra 140 for any additional meters required which a total of 3 was required. Sent all the photos everything was good to go.

They turned up the first day on time at 7am and the guys didn't know anything about a relocation and said they didn't bring any of the material required. I said there was a reeece down the road they declined to do the install so a whole day wasted rebooked for the 28th January

I get a phone call today which is the 24th 4 days before my install them saying I need to pay an additional $440 before they will do the OK install which I declined. Went back and forth and told them I would be taking the matter further r they refunded my money and was happy to Cancle the job. Which I now have wasted 1 day off work for and also I laid a concrete pad which cost money too. This company is a absolute joke DO NOT USE THEM.

And your response is an absolute lie, I have proof of photos and emails text being very transparent. Do not try and discredit me as you guys did the wrong thing I will still be following up with consumer affairs and solar VIC

Dear Tushar, apologizes for your experience and situation. We have investigated the matter and got more details for you. NRG7 team have been in touch with you throughout the process. Its customers responsibility to be transparent and informative from day one. If customers can not provide complete details to sales advisors then quotes can vary on day of install. Our team informed every customer about relocation charges and which may vary when installers on site. Same was done for you.
As your job was complicated therefore installers can not do the job within initial charges. That is why we requoted and informed before second visit. Partial reason for issues was wrong information provided by you which did not match when installers were on site. Should you have been more transparent then installation might have been completed. We have given you multiple options but you declined every. We can not proceed with non compliant ways of install if customers can not afford to cover the cost.

Again sorry for inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Rob

Eneft A102 HWS installed.
Always leaking water from the PTR valve as the inlet pressure wasn't checked beforehand.
Installation teams are in a rush to install or check anything prior to departing.

The ENEFT units are produced overseas and have no energy star rating. The warranty side of things obviously doesn't apply as I've had no response from NRG7 on rectifying the installation issues, compliance certificates or receipt for payment.

Avoid and stick with Rheem or Rinnai from a professional plumber or company, or go via Eneft direct.

Dear Rob, Apologies for any inconvenience may have caused. PTR valves can sometime leak after install even installer check the pressures. However we have fixed your issues and everything is working well now.
No heat pump hot water heater has energy rating regardless made in Australia or Overseas as such. ENEFT is reputable brand with no defect in heat pump, PTR valves are external material and have nothing to do with heat pump units.
We will look into this matter and commit to better service in future. Apologies again for any inconvenience.
Kind Regards,

I’ve recently had a ENEFT heat pump all in one unit installed ‘it’s a fairly straight forward process transition from gas with the state grants was very affordable. Just over $500 fully installed . So far I can’t fault the system is always hot ready to go our water pressure has even increased.comes with a decent warranty period I can also program the system to come on during the day to make use of my solar feed in to make it even cheaper to heat. Also the unit has a built in element for backup if you need extra hot water boosted quickly” but with 320lt capacity should be fine with a large family .. NRG7 were not bad to deal with the installation was a breeze great trade workers & customer service. Sure had to wait a little while to be installed but that’s understandable considering the amount of heat pumps being installed & I found them to be an Australian company with Australian workers if anyone is wondering the reception lady comes across different “ but I would recommend.it’s now been 12 months & the hot water system hasn’t missed a beat so far could not be happier.

Absolutely disgusted with NRG 7, today they released my and hundreds of other email addresses to the wider community. What are you doing to resolve privacy issues. Disgusting

NRG7 (Trading as Smart Workz Pty Ltd) provided the cheapest quote, were very quick to answer any questions I had and their team of installers (electrician and plumber) arrived on time and installed the "All in One heat pump" quickly and efficiently. I have only had the new heat pump a few hours so I cannot comment on it's reliability but it seems to be working OK.

I have a major issue with my heat pump that all people thinking about one should be aware of. And nothing in the product information tells you this. The high-efficiency, heat pump, WILL NOT re-heat the water in the tank until the temperature drops to 48 degrees. This means that you can use around half the water before it even tries to reheat, which could be days. The only way to have the tank reheated earlier is to use the electrical element, which is about 4 times less efficient. They don't tell you this. I would not have gone forward had I known this. Am working with the company to resolve - will update if they solve this problem.
Reply from NRG7 2024.09.23
Dear Ben,
Apologies for any inconvenience may have caused. We have investigated your matter and found that there is nothing wrong with heat pump. You are asking for temperature higher than 48 degrees but due to compliance as well as Australian Standards you can not go higher than 50 degrees supply of hot water inside your house . Same thing was setup for you before you replaced from gas unit to heat pump. Anything higher than 50 degrees will cause burns. You can heat up the water temperature in tank up to 75 degrees but you will never receive higher than 50 degrees inside the house.
Heat pump is efficient due to the process of thermodynamics therefore it will heat up water then store for certain time until temperature falls up to 48 degrees then reheat. This way it will save you energy consumption and cost. Also heat pumps are designed for major or mass market and for a person standards. They are tested as per Australian Standards and then modeled for government funded programs so they have very strict criteria’s to go through.
Hence you just need to understand how heat pump work for which our team explained you several times. If you have any other queries please do not hesitate to contact our tech team.
Kind Regards

The administration team were professional and helpful in answering all my questions.
The installation team Brayden , Kyle and sorry don't know the name of the other young man are very friendly and professional. Took away the old unit with them on leaving but I would have liked if the plastic sheets and styrofoam could have been taken at the same time otherwise happy with service. Would recommend to others.

Good value for money.
They had some issues with the recovery of the old unit. I ended up disposing of it myself after 3 months. I hope they fixed their issues by now. Overall, good value for money.
