10/10 experience!! First time i went Maggie helped me out!! i adore her. Second time i went everyone helped me out, they made me feel so special and while trying to find the dress and which we did! Also the upper management was amazing as well. Forever thankful for NYB helping me through this journey!

I had an incredible experience at New York Bride and Groom! I brought five women along with me to find my dream dress. We were all able to fit comfortably in a private dressing room. We were also helped by a very kind and informative staff. There was a large selection of dresses varying in styles. The best part is…I said yes to the dress!

This is truly a hidden gem. I had previously bought and returned 3 dresses from a big box bridal store, and was feeling like I would have to settle for something I kind of liked but didn’t love within my price point. I came here after a google search and reading the amazing reviews and it did not disappoint. We walked in on a Saturday with no appointment around lunch time. They assigned us to a bridal room and connected us with D as our consultant. I didn’t really have a vision for a dress and she was so patient and kind as we looked through the amazing selection of gowns. Don’t be intimidated by the price tags of the dresses because they have racks and racks of gorgeous sample dresses available, one of which I ended up with. The quality of all of the gowns were amazing, there truly is something for every price range, our stylist D was phenomenal, and I could not be happier with my experience here. I did not have to settle or break the bank, and I truly was able to experience the “this is the one” moment.

I had a great experience working with NY Bride and Groom! They have a HUGE selection of beautiful dresses at a fair price point in a nicely appointed and maintained store. I interacted with numerous staff on several different occasions and everyone was always friendly, professional and genuinely cared about my experience. I must have been between two sizes as the sample size was slightly too big but when my dress came in (just one size smaller) it took 3 people to get it zipped up! I of course was frantic but the stylist and alterations department worked hard to get the fit just right. They made sure the alterations were perfect and I was 100% satisfied with the fit before sending my dress home with me. I definitely recommend NY Bride and Groom for any S.C. bride to be!

The dressings rooms are spacious and comfortable for trying on dresses with guests. Wide variety of dress styles and sizes, along with plenty of accessories. Most importantly, the staff is so pleasant and helpful in every way. Many of the dresses would be perfect for cotillion as well. Highly recommend a visit.

This place is absolutely gorgeous when you walk in! An amazing experience! Had fun and found my dress with Carly’s amazing help! Really appreciate the warm welcomes and care that I received. This can be a stressful time trying to find that perfect dress and they made me feel like I was center of attention the entire time.

The name says “Bride & Groom” so I drove all the way there to rent a tuxedo just to find out they only cater to brides. It should be called “New York Bride”. The staff was friendly when I walked in though. Other than that, disappointed.

I had been putting off wedding dress shopping for as long as possible for my November wedding. I had a pretty awful experience at a well-known store in Columbia a few months ago, and it pretty much ruined the experience for me. I decided that I needed to get my dress now since it's July and my wedding is in November, only a few months away. I came to NYB&G with no expectations. I was immediately greeted by Kay, who took care of me for the day. Kay was exceptional. She was so kind and so helpful. She helped me to step into each and every dress. She showed me veil options as well as sleeve options. She was so informative about the ordering and alterations process. Kay took a difficult day for me and made it absolutely amazing. Kay brought me dress after dress to try on and walked around the floor with me to help me look. I saw a dress on a mannequin and it drew my attention. It had all the details I wanted. I asked Kay if I could try that dress on and Kay immediately undressed the mannequin for me. The dress fit me perfectly, and I ended up saying yes to that dress. It felt meant to be. I can't say enough good things about this store. It is so organized, so clean, huuuge selection of dresses, and all of the staff were very friendly. I can't thank Kay enough for her efforts, her kind words, and her support. I'm so happy I came here. Highly recommend!!!!

If I could give this shop a million stars I would! The staff is AMAZING and super sweet. This was the first shop I went to & I tried on one dress, the very first one I fell in love!!! I could not thank this place enough. I would recommend any and every bride to go here, you won’t be disappointed.

Best experience ever.

I had the most AMAZING experience shopping for my reception dress here. Kay was so wonderful to work with. She was knowledgeable, personable, and fun! They have so many beautiful, great quality dresses for a variety of different brides’ styles. I cannot recommend this place enough!

If I could give New York Bride & Groom a million stars, I would! Not only do they have an INSANE collection of dresses to choose from, but they make you feel like a celebrity every time you walk through their doors. I had gained an inch or so in my hips a few weeks before our wedding day and my dress didn't fit! Not a problem for New York Bride & Groom! They made me feel so at ease that they would take care of it, and two weeks later, my dress fit like a glove :) Would recommend them to anyone looking for a gown for their special day!

After visiting 4 different bridal shops, I finally found my dress at NYB&G! Not only did I find the dress of my dreams, but I had the BEST experience here out of every other bridal shop! The entire staff is so accommodating and truly makes you feel like princess! Karen and Candace were so helpful throughout my process and I am so thankful for their expertise with finding exactly what I was looking for. I could not recommend them enough! 🩷
