Dr. Kalika, along with his team, have been the only people to successfully help with my EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). This practice is unlike any i’ve ever been to before; most physicians have little to no idea on how to treat someone with EDS and stick with typical methods of pain management. I thought I would be in pain the rest of my life, but Dr. Kalika’s knowledge and forms of therapy have truly changed my life. One of the greatest qualities a physician can have is the ability to grow with your field, which is something he excels at. If you’re struggling with EDS I very highly recommend you make an appointment.

Dr. Kalika was very though all in his diagnosis and provided excellent treatment in getting rid of my pain of my back and shoulder pain. He has the passion for helping people that most doctors lack. I recommend for anyone with pain to give him a chance and you will be very satisfied.

I had chronic disabling shoulder pain after playing a lot volleyball last summer. The MRI was completely negative . I have been to three physical therapist, received three PRP injections and had zero results after a year of treatment. I couldn’t workout and the pain was weird coming and going on its own unprovoked by any specific movement. A new coworker recommended to see Dr. Kalika who solved his complicated shoulder problem. I went to see Dr. Kalika without any expectations, but I was quite surprised with his clinical and diagnostic ultrasonography skills which he combines with a sophisticated motion recognition technology . He diagnosed me with scapular dyskenisis and suprascapular nerve palsy which no doctors mentioned to me before. Dr. Kapustina treated me with ultrasound guided neuromodulation for the nerve pain. I also had two months of pt with DNS methodology and very interesting equipment that activates and strengthens under-active muscles. I started to feel improvement in four weeks after which my shoulder was getting better each week. It has been eleven weeks now and I feel I am ninety percent better. Strongly recommend to visit Dr.Kalika and his team if you have shoulder pain .

Just had a dry needling session today with Tatyana Kapustina and she was amazing! Had chronic pain in calves and recent pain in one arm and also stiff upper spine. She also treated trapezoid area.

Finding Dr. Kalika was a Godsend. By the time I discovered his practice, I had been in excruciating pain for eight months. I had undergone lower back surgery for disc herniation, but the pain returned just two weeks after the surgery, leaving me unable to walk or live a basic life. Dr. Kalika was the first doctor who truly listened to me. He took the time to examine every pain spot I indicated. Every treatment he and his team provided went above and beyond. They made sure I was heard first and foremost, addressing my pains directly and bringing additional relief after each session. Honestly, I was skeptical in the beginning. After seeing so many different doctors, I was losing hope for a pain-free life. However, three months later, I cannot describe how thankful I am to Dr. Kalika and his team of true professionals. In just three months, I went from being in constant pain, barely able to walk and dependent on others for simple tasks around the house, to someone who can travel and ride a bike again. It's something I couldn't believe would happen to me anytime soon. I will always be indebted to Dr. Kalika, Tatyana, Michael, and Marcin! Additionally, the administrator Julia is always there to help and explain any questions. I just wish I had found them before I signed up for the surgery. I cannot recommend this team highly enough! been going there for a slew of problems for over a month so far. Doing shockwave, fascial manipulation, dry needling, pt, indiba. I got many injuries from being active over the years. I really dig dr Kalika, and the whole team so far. It sucks it's all out of pocket, and it's mad expensive but it is what it is. I rather spend lots of money on my health than anything else. I also like that they try and educate me while I'm there. I'm always asking questions probably too many but I find the whole thing so fascinating. They are very patient with me, oh and I can't forget the lil pup. that dog is great. Loves the cuddles.

I went to see Dr. Kalika for a recurring lower back pain issue. I have had it for over 10 years with not much progress in recovery. It hampered my daily active life and I was have seen several PTs over the years with not much permanent relief. I was impressed by Dr. Kalika’s modern approach to diagnosis and he was extremely thorough in his initial consultation and was able to very quickly assess my overall condition. He developed a plan for shockwave therapy, EMTT, dry needling and PT for 10 weeks. I felt better after a couple of sessions and continued the rest of my treatment to good effect. I must also praise Dr. Tatiana for her dry needling skills. She was instrumental in getting rid of long standing muscle tightness. Overall it was a great experience and I am now looking forward to getting my other muscle injuries treated as well. They are expensive however and much of the treatments are not covered by insurance, atleast in my case.

I highly recommend NYDNRehab! Dr. Kalika and his team are highly knowledgeable, employ cutting-edge technology, and provide comprehensive care with a variety of treatment methods that are meant to work together. I went there with several pain and muscle tightness issues (shoulder, lower back, hip, knee) -- all seemingly minor, but yet leading to repeated injuries that precluded me from being as active as I wanted to be. Dr. Kalika developed an initial 6-week plan for me with shockwave, dry needling (including ultrasound-guided), EMTT, and PT. Some of the effects were immediate; others took several sessions to see. As some issues got fixed, others emerged, and Dr. Kalika was able to quickly start addressing them. After the first few weeks of treatment, my body already feels completely transformed. My only piece of feedback is that Dr. Kalika's diagnosis and treatment plan doesn't always get well communicated to other members of the team, so there's a bit of a telephone game with you needing to pass on what you remember Dr. Kalika said. But this is minor, and Dr. Kalika regularly checks in to make sure you're making progress. A big thank you to the team! I'm extremely grateful for the results!

I went to Dr. Kalika for a whole slew of muscle/nerve problems relating to sports injuries. Before going to Dr. Kalika, I went to several PTs and doctors, none of which could correctly diagnose and treat my issues. Dr. Kalika was immediately able to diagnose what was causing my pain and develop a plan to treat it. I can happily say that it was worth every dollar. Dr. Kalika is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and uses cutting edge treatments backed by science. He is also very easy to talk to and cares deeply about the well-being of his patients. After four years of unsuccessful diagnoses and treatments by orthopedists, neurologists and a spinal surgeon for a weak leg condition resulting in a limp, I found Dr. Kalika's website online and decided to give him a try. His use of ultrasonography and ESWT and EMTT technology to diagnose and treat my condition has resulted in the strengthening of my leg and virtual elimination of my limp. I would highly recommend Dr. Kalika and his staff.

My friend reccomended Dr Kalika to me, after hearing my stories of never ending backpain. After a referral from my doctor, I went to Dr.Kalika for shockwave therapy. Seemed odd at first, but it really did help me! This gave me enough physical relief to then do physical therapy with Daniela Escudero, which has been amazing. Front desk is helpful and communicative, everyone is kind and happy to explain various aspects of your treatment. I'm happy with my service here and would recommend to others.

After going to over 15 Physical therapists and multiple Doctors including an NFL hip and and NFL ankle doctor with 0 improvement, I finally found Dr. Lev K and Daniella who are hands down the best and most experienced at diagnosing the root cause and providing me a plan for rehabilitation. The reason they were so successful is they evaluated my entire kinetic chain via a gait analysis in video, ultrasound, and many more techniques, while providing me pathways to rehabilitate hip and ankle. I came in with daily pain, and now I live a pain free life. Highly recommend for anyone who’s tried traditional PT and not seen improvement.

I was very satisfied with the initial examination conducted by Dr. Kalika, which was detailed and comprehensive. I initially sought help for a stiff neck and pain that was affecting my gait and mobility. Additionally, I was experiencing left shoulder pain with limited movement and more. The prescribed treatment protocols, which included Shockwave therapy and EMTT, were designed to provide regeneration and relief. Halfway through the treatment, my shoulder has remarkably improved. I can now lift it, use it, and even sleep on my left side for the first time in years. As for my neck, I've noticed progressive improvement in mobility and much less pain.
