Highly recommend NY wood stairs. They designed and built my wood stairs in a timely manner with extra care placed into the measurements, comfort, and the delivery. Their installers were highly professional; very careful not to damage the floors and always making sure that every detail was communicated. They are very responsive and always in communication via email, text, and even a phone call! I was very impressed with them. Thank you AJ and team for a great experience!

Highly recommend NY wood stairs. The crew completed two stunning stairs for my condo and I couldn’t be more impressed and pleased with not just the craftsmanship but also with the authenticity and care of the entire team. It’s all hands on deck with this company, they have multiple people on standby and are always in communication with you. They pickup the phone and call you, and answer you immediately. I knew I could trust a company like theirs when I was completely understood from the start: what I wanted, needed and when. The owner AJ even came on site multiple times to make sure everything was being done and was gracious enough to work within our timeline as well. Moving things around his schedule and always giving professional advice along the way. When his concern about the comfort of the stairs came up, I realized he not only wants you to have a good experience during the process, but he genuinely wants to leave you with the best stairs you could possibly make for yourself. When my guests saw the wood stairs they were floored at the color, style and craftsmanship asking who did our stairs. They are absolutely stunning in color, composition, and wood grade. We are always proud to say a Brooklyn company did :) you guys are making NY proud with your work and service! THANK YOU TEAM!!!

In addition to giving me a great price, AJ was flexible and creative when it came to addressing the particular conditions of my project while other stair contractors I were not. He also offered to upgrade my stairs from poplar to white oak at no extra cost because he had some remaining material from his previous project! NY Wood Stairs was one of the only contractors who has been helpful and human during a long and stressful home renovation. Thank you for everything!

During a complete remodel, my wife and I were having issues finding the staircase we wanted. We met with AJ, showed him some inspiration pics, and approximately one week later he and his team had design options for us. Shortly after deciding, they installed the perfect staircase for our space.

Hello AJ, NOT ONCE did I ask for you to push your clients for me. In fact, I had no problem waiting the three to four weeks you said it would take. My 1 star review was for the lack of communication, organization and professionalism from you and your staff. I went on your website booked an appointment using the calendar on your website. After paying the $150 for the appointment I received a call the following day asking me to reschedule because you were busy. Then the day before the already rescheduled appointment you call and say that I can’t be seen for another month. Again I never once asked for you to do the job sooner when we spoke. But feel free to push your FALSE narrative on a review.

NY Wood Stairs fixed my balusters and stair treads for a reasonable rate and had good communication throughout the process. They kept all of their promises and performed exceptional work. Thanks again for your professionalism and getting the job done so quickly.

AJ was amazing. We were in a huge bind as our first set of stairs were built wrong. The builder didn’t return our calls and then finally showed up 2 months later. He spent 6 hours and couldn’t get the stairs to be straight. (They were poorly built with pine and beyond repair). I frantically jumped on google to find a new company to help us out. I got a reply the same day (Sunday no less!) and AJ was there the next day for measurements and pricing. Stairs were built and delivered with in 9 days. They are soooo much better than the first set. Solid, straight, and built to perfection. The installers were right on time and did an outstanding job. Really couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks to everyone at NY wood stairs for coming to the rescue. Honestly it’s hard to find this kind of company these days.
