Both my sons attended Open Arms. They both enjoyed it, loved the staff, food and made great friends there. The owner Anita, was wonderful from the first contact all the way through to graduation. I didn’t have any issues and accommodations or support were always made if needed. The staff there really love kids. I felt my kids were in a safe and fun environment. I would absolutely recommend this daycare for anyone who is looking for one.

From the moment we first walked through the doors of Open Arms Richmond Hill South, we knew it was a special place. When we lived in the area, we had visited quite few daycares before choosing Open Arms. Despite moving further away 6 months ago and having several other options within a 5-minute radius of our new home, we have continued our commute—20-30 minutes each way depending on traffic—to ensure our son could stay in this nurturing environment. The teachers and staff here are simply outstanding, combining warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the children's well-being and development. Their ability to connect with the kids and foster a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere is impressive. Our son always mentions his teachers, even the ones from his class when he was younger and could barely talk. The camera system and the photos we received of our son's daily activities were a great bonus! Moreover, the daycare setting itself is fantastic—clean, bright, and stimulating, designed perfectly for kids to learn and grow. It took us visiting 6 other daycares all within a 5 minute drive of our new place before finding one that we thought would compare to the service and care our little guy has received at Open Arms by Simmi and the team. Choosing to drive the extra distance each day has been a testament to the quality and care the team has provided. We are immensely grateful to have had our son here and are truly sad to leave. We cannot recommend this daycare highly enough to other parents looking for an amazing early childhood experience.

As a Mom i really don’t recommend this Daycare, i can say it is related to anything except daycare, i put my toddler there for 3 days , as a second time a mom i can know if this daycare is good enough for my kid or not ..no one was taking care about her crying ( they told me it’s normal for the first few days!!!) 😢 ok i know it’s normal for the first few days but kids need someone to distract them to get involved and play..when they went outside my kid stay still for 30 minutes and no one tried to distract her and show her how to play she stayed still until she start crying because her legs was hurting,,, miss Jessica tried with my kid just for 2 seconds and my kid didn’t let her to touch her … and miss Jessica didn’t bother herself to try again,,,miss jessica in toddler room was honestly Rude ,,, and miss simmi should be a supervisor but i think she is not supervise the teachers enough that’s why the teachers become rude and dose not care enough about your child,,, i transferred my kid right away to different daycare,,, she is adjusting so fast and for the first two days she is happy and playing normally .

My child attended Open Arms in the preschool and toddler class for 2.5 years. We are very happy with our choice, this is an excellent daycare with a clean facility and shaded play area. My son enjoyed the delicious, healthy food. The teachers are really good at what they do. They showed such kindness and warmth to my child. He flourished in this daycare and learned so much everyday. We were provided with thoughtful updates on our son throughout our time here. He is still talking about his teachers and friends everyday and was well prepared for Kindergarten. A big thank you to Ms. Anita, Ms. Karen, Ms. Ragheda, Ms. Yachna, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Zoya and Ms. Jan.

Our son attended Open Arms for almost 3 years and we are grateful for how the teachers supported his growth throughout, from the toddlers class to the preschool class, the teachers have been extraordinary with their kindness and efforts. I would recommend this preschool to any of my family and friends.

Most of the teachers have been there for a long time with low turnovers, providing stable environment for the kids. There are in house made fresh lunches and afternoon snacks everyday. The teachers are quite caring and attentive. Comparing to a Montessori school, I think the learning curriculums has room for improvement in the preschool class. There is construction going on infront of the school, so a bit noisy and dusty. I think it would end at the end of the this summer.

Our two little ones just love open arms in Bolton. The teachers are thoughtful and warm. I love that the app keeps me feeling connected and updated throughout the day. The facility is clean, bright and spacious. So happy we found open arms!

Very well developed brand new location. All the staff members are really good. They maintain everything clean and hygenic.

The staff are caring and attentive, and our child always comes home happy and exhausted from a fun day. They have a great balance of playtime and educational activities, and the facilities are always clean and safe. Highly recommend!"

We loved the daycare. It is brand new with very spacious and bright rooms. I really liked the welcoming nature of the supervisor Ms. Romina and it will be pleasure having my child there under their care.

Romina is exceptionally kind and easy to speak with. We had a great experience meeting her and seeing the beautifully renovated facility. From the bathrooms to kitchens to natural wood toys and furniture, we were greatly impressed with the facility !

As a new mom I was nervous sending my little girl in to be taken care by strangers 5 years ago. I took a tour when it was under different management and was greeting by engaged staff, clean open spaces, bright and colourful hallways, and most importantly content and friendly children. However it was then that I learned it was just acquired by Open Arms. I was anxious as to how new management would change this positive image I just saw, but proceeded with enrollment. I am so glad I did. The staff quickly because part of my village, easing my new parent fears and jitters, offering me practical advice, and even bringing me to reality when I was neglecting different parts of my child's needs. My girl grew up there from the infant room to pre-school, and even proudly introduced her baby brother when he was ready to join the Open arms family. When we moved cities, I was devastated to say goodbye to the wonderful staff and my girls safe community. They reassured me that my daughter was resilient and would thrive in any environment. ...and they were right, but we as parents were not so resilient. Within a month of being in a different daycare, we missed the open communication, the individualized care, the feeling that our girl was a growing person to be nurtured vs just another child to mind. So....we went back. And every work day for several months until my daughter became school aged I made a 40 minute detour in my work commute to get her to and from Open Arms. Because the life and growth of the ones you cherish the most can only be entrusted to certain people, and they were worth it. Thank you Miss Dana, Miss April, Miss Jessica, Miss Yachna, Mr Raffy, Miss Romina, Miss Maddy, Miss Simmi, and the many more that I'm certainly missing. We still appreciate everything you have done for us.

We love this daycare and the staff!! My oldest went here for almost 2 years and still asks to visit. She lights up when she sees her previous teachers! My youngest has been here for a few months and settled in right away. I have never seen her warm up to people so quickly! Miss Anita and all the teachers are truly kind, caring, loving and passionate. They are accommodating to our needs and ready with solutions. Communication is clear and constant via the app, phone calls and in person chats. There is a live video feed as well where we can see how well our kids are being taken care of. Both my children love Miss Jan's food, and we appreciate how clean and organized the kitchen is. The rooms are clean, colourful and full of fun activities for the children. We definitely recommend Open Arms!!

This was the first daycare my son joined when he was 9 months old, now he is in preschool class in another daycare because we moved to new place, but I still remember how loving and caring Ms. Dana was, she is definitely one of the best teachers I ever met, she helped my son adapting to the daycare schedule from the beginning and hold & hugged him a lot when he needed them the most. There were also other great teachers, the management was ok, and food was made in house, which is great, nutritious with good variety. There is also a nice small park nearby, kids go daily walk around the place and the community is also nice and quiet.

Highly recommend Open Arms Preschool because their teachers are so caring and understanding. Don’t worry if teachers change over time, the teaching and kind culture will remain. We love the smaller school size (only 1 toddler and 1 preschool class), amazingly large and shaded playground, the live cameras, and clear communication via the messaging app. We wish Miss Karen, Miss Ragheda, and Miss Omal all the best (and, of course, Miss Amanda and Miss Zoya in the toddler class)! You’re all amazing at your jobs and we felt that little Jayden was so safe if your caring hands. You have one of the hardest jobs and none of you are taken for granted!!

My son went to Open Arms for two years and we have nothing but great feedback about his care while enrolled here. Miss Anita and classroom teachers are all so kind, caring and nurturing towards the kids. My son loved going to daycare and will still talk about his teachers at Open Arms after leaving to go to JK. The apps are great for communication and getting live updates. If you are looking for a homey feel with caring teachers for your littles, this is the place to go to!

This is the best daycare in the town. My son Geo had 1.5yr of happy & quality time with great teachers and good friends. The communication had always been very effective & smooth via the Bright Wheel app and we liked the Watch Me Grow app as we could have a sneak peek of our child throughout the day. I think live video is another way of expressing how confident they're with the care of the children. We'd been very happy with Open Arms daycare & Geo's missing all - Big thanks to all the teachers, special thanks to Miss Ragheda who had always shared sincere concerns and warm words.

My daughter was going to Open Arms Preschool and she loved the place and people so much. I strongly recommend this canter.
