my wife reached out to the owner Chan back in Dec of 2023, a good EIGHT MONTHS before our arrival to newport beach for our 11 day vacation. We were clear in exactly where we were staying and submitted his online form numerous times in which he confirmed were recieved and that we were reserved. My wife and I both had conversations and texts with him to confirm all.
About 2-3 weeks before our trip I called the office and Chan was out of town on vacation. The person who answered the phone said he would ask Chan about our reservation and get back to me. I called him every 2-3 days to check in and it was the same story that he needed to ask Chan and would get back to me.
Finally a few days before our arrival, I called back again and got ahold of Chan. He said that the OC fair was going on and he needed to move some things around to get us our cart (that was promised 8 months ago). Once we got settled in our house in Newport Beach, I called Chan again and he told me that he had nothing to rent me because some people who were currently renting asked to extend their rental and he granted it.
I told him that we have had this confirmation for 8 months and after getting flustered, he said "what are you going to do? Sue me? you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go down to the OC Fair and grab a fu€*!N cart out of their hands and deliver it to you tomorrow morning!" I told him, sweet go get it, we had the booking first.
Well the cart never came, Chan double booked us and we were cartless for our time in Newport Beach. I can show the text conversation for anyone who would like to see the proof.
Read the reviews on this guy, he has a strong sales pitch up front but it seems that when challenging times arise he is quick to ghost a customer or tell them to kick rocks.

They run “sales.” I placed my order online and didn’t receive a confirmation email. They charged my card immediately, however. I called and they conveniently only had 1 of every wheel that was on sale. Either they made an error on pricing/their website or just straight up lied, because the item is still listed in the quantity of choice to this day. They also started treating me differently (in a negative way) when they realized I wasn’t local. I am giving 2 stars because they did claim to submit the refund…but we shall see. I do not recommend this business to anyone that is not local. I’m sure they’ll have some excuse and customer blame like they’ve done to all other poor reviews.

Yes, we did have some epic deals on some nice rims by RHOX as part of the cleaning-out special, which, of course, we passed the deal on to our online customers. Unfortunately, as you may agree, they were excellent, very low-priced, and sold out almost as fast as we listed them. We understand how you can be upset that we had sold out by the time we received your order. We did our best with our connections to source you a set of wheels or the alternative you said you would be okay if in stock. Unfortunately, there was literally only one wheel available for each option. So we attempted to reach out to you again via phone and left you a voicemail explaining the situation and that if our credit card processor had charged or held any funds for the order, they would be refunded within the next seven business days.
As far as your treatment, we need clarification on what you are referring to. We tried our best and respected your wishes about not contacting you via text when we were merely responding to your text messages and explaining that the rims had sold out. We did go ahead and cancel your order, which, as expressed on our website, is held until we can verify and confirm your order and process it.

Called tried to get my cart fixed was told I would get a call back to set something up and I got nothing no phone call no email even after I filled out there stupid form... waisted of time I recommend going else where if you want to be treated like a customer

Wanted a new set of tires but they would not give me a quote. Maybe too busy for a small job. Poorly run business.

They replaced a charger in my golf cart $ 1150 ,still did. Not charge past 65 percent, called them they said they would be back but never did,got it fixed by a nother company. Be careful!!!
We do have a Harold Killian in our system. If the charger does not charge above 65 percent could it be your batteries ? You have West marine AGM Batteries, They are not a OEM/ Approved Battery for the 2002 Gem Car. In 2002 Gem car used Trojan 30 XHS Wet Cell. Alan Put in a Delta Q 72 volt 912-7200 with the algorithm for AGM. as a OEM Charger from Gem Car. And at the time he explained to you that the AGM batteries that you purchased from your friend at West marine were not correct. Alan has spoken to you recently re this again, and again.

My experience with OC Monster Carts was nothing short of excellent. Came in talked to Cyndi & Chan, told them what I was looking for and they dialed my, new Club Car in with rims, tires, etc. Great price…even delivered it right to my front door in time for 4th of July. Good people, great staff!!!

wow did you have some beautiful looking golf carts but they all come with that beautiful looking price tag as well. wish they had a better selection of more medium priced golf carts however it seems like Chan the owner is also not a very friendly character and is very quick to get you off the phone

Not a company I would really suggest using using when it comes down to getting your golf cart fixed in a timely manner
It appears after doing some research you are associated with a competitor Why are you doing this look: all your comments of other golf car companies all are negative except Apex ?
