I have been moving back into my living space after 6 months due to a flood. After unpacking for days I hit the wall and could not open another box. I felt paralyzed but I knew I didn't want to face all the boxes piled up in my bedroom. Catherine came over and she set up her table and we started. After her "Try Me 3 hour session", I could see my bedroom again. She was so easy to work with, and it motivated me to tackle what felt like a mountain. I couldn't believe all the things I threw out, recycled and donated. And the best part... Catherine took it all and handled the garbage, and donatable items and dropped them off at a local donation spot. Thanks so much for your help. What a wonderful experience I had with Catherine, helping me to purge and organize my "junk" room. She was able to help me with some emotional items, whether to purge, donate or dash on a number of items. After three hours, my one cupboard had room in it, part of my room also had room in it, and I was able to see daylight as to what needed to be done next. It is the best decision I made for my personal well-being. Catherine focuses on the job and isn’t judgemental, which is essential when you struggle to keep up with your house and daily tasks. In two quick sessions, she devised a filing system to help me manage my finances, which I’ve been able to sustain. We also sorted through endless papers, scaled it down, and made it manageable. In one brief session, Catherine organized my pantry, which had been in disarray for years. Now it’s a source of pride. In another session, she worked with me to clear out a basement storage room full of years of accumulation. All these things would have taken me months had I tried to sort through them on my own. With Catherine’s organization skills, I look forward to decluttering the rest of my house and plan to use her services to prepare my mother’s condo for sale.
