I wrote a prior review in which I reviewed the excess charges this company inveighs against its customers. Please be very careful and aware of the following AFTER they presented me with an exorbitant charge, they informed me that they would charge me $50 for fuel and $20 for using my debit card . NOTHING was said beforehand of these spurious charges. . Had I known about the second one, I would have simply written a check . It seems they do whatever they can to inflate the charges. Buyer beware!

Were it possible to give 2 ratings, 1 for labor and one for management I would give a 5 for labor, especially to Sean and his partner, who moved my items out of my home and wer​e extremely cooperative and pleasant .I really appreciated their attitude. I would give a 1 to management because I was charged $633 for 3 hours that is at a rate of $211 AN HOUR!! My home was very sparsely and the furniture moved was relatively light . That's an exorbitant overcharge ! In addition, I emailed them subsequent to seeing this charge and they never responded. $211 an hour is a ridiculous charge .I wish I'd known before I hired them for those 3 hours! Before forewarned.

This is by far the worst packing, moving company I have ever experienced in my lifetime. They came to our house to get us an accurate quote for packing and moving and we agreed on said price. By the time all was said and done the price doubled. The people who packed the items took forever and clearly did not have any idea nor business packing items up. Many collector items were damaged due to the inability and pure inept skill levels of these people. They wrapped each individual item they found as to be able to charge more becuase it took more hours than quoted. Seriously I do not think each individual pen needs to be wrapped by it self before being put in a box. They took other items apart and wrapped each one individually again, to take more time to do so in order to charge me more. They threw collector pieces not wrapped down in the bottom of boxes and then set heavily wrapped items on top of them causing many of these items to break. They wrote what was in the boxes to better help when unpacking but they do not know how to spell so we have had one heck of a time trying to figure out what was in the boxes. The movers were the same way. Had no clue what they were doing, did not listen to us when we would ask questions or make small requests on what to pack last as we needed specific items left out till last minute. Completely unprofessional in every aspect you can imagine. When the movers got to our new house we were told they would be there at 730 am, which one guy and the truck got there at that time. They could not find movers to help unload the truck till around 10am but charged us for this time while the driver just sat there saying he can't do it alone. When the second guy got there around 10am they proceed to make my son help them unload the truck and move items into the house. I didn't pay movers to do this job so my son could do it for them and still charge us. At the end of all of this many of the employees insisted we tip them as they went above and beyond which clearly they did not. This establishment is horrendous and horrid and I can not warn you enough to stay away from them as they will ruin your stuff and over charge you.

The service was horrendous, they damaged my furniture and used intimidation tactics to pressure me into paying far more than we had agreed upon. Looking back, I should have called the police, as one of them refused to leave my living room until I paid. It was a terrifying experience. If you can, avoid them, there are plenty of other moving companies out there that aren't worth this kind of trouble.

Customer service was great! The movers showed up on time. They were very fast and efficient and took a lot of care handling and moving my items especially the big furniture and TV! I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other moving companies resulting in my TV’s and furniture being damaged so I was very pleased with the care they took while moving my stuff. They even helped disassemble and reassemble my bed frame, dressers, and kitchen table!

The estimator said for the size our home it would be about 6 hours, it took 12. We got two men but if I'd have gotten 3 it probably wouldn't have made a difference because they were disorganized and didn't plan their space in the truck well. One man spoke english and the other spoke spanish and neither were bilingual. My husband ended up having to translate for them. My husband left 15 minutes after they left our old house and they arrived at our new house 30 minutes after he did. My husband didn't pass them on the freeway so I don't know where they went. I probably wouldn't have complained about any of this except that they also over charged me by a lot. The sales person never told me we'd have to pay overtime and they also charge a credit card fee that is totally unfair because there isn't any other way to pay. Even with these surprises, my total came to $2163. I was charged $100 deposit and another $2501 after the move. I didn't notice the math error until after the fact because the mover wrote in the hours and dollar amounts but didn't actually subtotal the amounts on the receipt. He just wrote a total of $2501 in big letters. On top of that he asked for a tip. I called as soon as I realized the error, but the person I needed to talk to wasn't there. I waited a few days and called again. I was told the person would call me back the same day. He didn't. I called back a couple of days later. Same thing. I called the next day and they promised he'd call me back before the end of the day. He didn't. I called the next day and threated to dispute the charge with my bank if he didn't call be back that same day. Finally his assistant called me back and said they would give me $200. I told them it was unacceptable and insisted on talking to the manager. He told me that according to the mover's GPS they were actually there 14 hours. They weren't. Including the drive time they were with us about 11 hours. After I argued for awhile about the difference in drive time and the unfair credit card fees, I agreed to accept the original charge and he agreed to pay me the $438 over charge. The guys were very rude to each other and couldn't have finished a lot faster if they could communicate, but they were polite to us. I still won't use them again.

I called to get information and a quote on a move, encompassing packing, transport, and unpacking at our new home. I was confused at first because I called Spry Moving and somehow they are now owned by this company? The owner Elad came to my home prior and said "oh this will be easy", as we were leaving a lot of furniture behind for a renter. He spent maybe all of 10 minutes walking through my home. This was our fifth move in 12 years and by far the worst. We have a four bedroom three bath four-story split level home they were packing. I was given a quote, not knowing that everything was à la cart pricing. I knew after eight hours overtime would kick in and would be extra. That's all I thought was extra. They showed up totally unprepared for the size of the house. They underestimated the hours it would take to pack and had no idea that they were unpacking us the next day upon arrival at our new home. When we told them they said -oh well you'll definitely need a third day and there's going to be a lot of OT- as we were moving 40 minutes away. They had 4 guys and 3 worked hard. As they were leaving, they asked for a tip and my husband said sorry the job is not done. I'll tip you tomorrow when the job is done. They were supposed to be there the next morning at 8 AM the next morning 3 showed up - we were supposed to have 5. A couple hours later after my husband called and spoke with Nicole, 4 more helpers arrived. We ended up with seven total. Honestly, I don't want to bore you with the endless details. They got to the house, at that point it was already late in the afternoon and they still had to unload and the job was to unpack every box putting all of the dishes, silverware glassware groceries, pantry items on flat surfaces, and take all the boxes with them when they left. My husband gave them all cash, hoping to motivate them and it worked. Unfortunately, after a full day of unloading and bringing in all the furniture, setting up the beds -they said there was no time to unpack our boxes only the wardrobe boxes, but two people would return the next day to unpack the remaining boxes. The answer to your question is no, no one ever came to unpack us the next day. Big shout out to Esteban. He was a rockstar throughout the entire process and we were super grateful for him and there were a couple other guys that were really great. They ALL put hard work in on the second day for sure. It's not their fault that the company they work for makes all kinds of promises, misleads you on the price and then doesn't deliver on their promises.:( Buyer beware when hiring this company .

This company is the worst company! They lost my sister's parts to her beds and would not replace or fix the beds. Some of her items are "lost" She made multiple calls to the company but no call back. I strongly discourage anyone from using this company. HORRIBLE customer service to say the least!!!

I was impressed with the service I received from One Stop Moving & Storage during my recent move from downtown San Diego to North Park. The movers were professional, efficient, and took great care of my belongings. The move was completed in a timely manner and the price was reasonable. I appreciated the attention to detail and the communication throughout the move. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a tiny scratch on one of my furniture pieces, which they sent an expert to fix, but overall I'm very satisfied with the service and would recommend One Stop Moving & Storage to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

Full disclosure: we did not end up using this company. This review is for the customer service. Nicole is who we mainly dealt with and she was always very nice. However, it was clear to us that she was not empowered to negotiate with us, always having to check with her supervisor. One Stop Moving (OSM) was recommended by our real estate agent for our move from Orange County, CA, to the greater Boise area. We have a 3-Bedroom house, a baby grand, and some patio furniture. We sold our large entertainment center. Elad did our virtual estimate. He quickly decided that we would need two 26 ft trucks at a total cost of over $16K. We were prepared to pay that but were skeptical that we needed the two trucks. We contacted another company, well reviewed on Yelp. Their quote for two trucks was $2300 less than OSM, and they gave us the option of one truck and our own, smaller U-Haul, with their crew to load both trucks, and estimated that we would be over the capacity of one 26 ft truck by only 10%. The cost was now down to under $13K. We still were interested in using OSM, so I contacted Nicole and told her about the second estimate. She consulted her supervisor, and dropped the price $700, using two 26 ft trucks. That's still $1600 more than the other company, and no suggestion of one truck and our own U-Haul. But, she said, we could no longer have our original date of June 5th, but would have to wait until the 12th. Since we were leaving the state on the 5th, we politely declined and signed up with the other company. 30 minutes later, Nicole calls and leaves a voicemail. They dropped their price another $1K(still $500 over the other company)and said that now the 5th was available again. I don't know what was going on from their side, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. We used the other company and everything went well. Ultimately, I'm glad we didn't go with OSM.
