It was our first time at Ostra as we were celebrating a birthday! Everyone from the host, server, food runner and manager were so professional and attentive. The food was amazing and everything was timed perfectly. We loved that they split the plates for us such as the Caesar salad and the crab tagliatelle. The entrees were delicious and the presentation of the desserts were on point. Definitely excited to dine here again in the near future!

Ostra gets all of the essentials right - creative cuisine, superb service, comfortable dining space and great location. We are always happy to secure a reservation at this very popular restaurant. We began with perfectly made cocktails (they also have an extensive wine list) followed by first courses of grilled octopus and mushroom risotto. The main courses were Faroe Island Salmon and grilled Bronzino - both amazing. For desert we shared panna cotta. Our waiter was professional, personable and knowledgable assisting with meal choices. The front of the house staff was also accommodating and welcoming. One of our favorite places for dinner for two or more.

Food was very good and service outstanding as always. A great choice for a special meal where the staff makes you feel like they truly care about providing an exceptional experince.

It's alway such a pleasure to eat at Ostra. The food is outstanding and the service friendly and professional.

This was my second time dining at Ostra and it will not be my last! I was with my mother to celebrate her birthday with a quick dinner before seeing a show nearby. Everyone on the staff made us feel like celebrities! The service was amazing and the food was the highlight! We enjoyed a dozen of the most delicious freshly shucked oysters I’ve ever had outside my own home. Not wanting to be too full while sitting through a show, we shared the ricotta gnocchetti first course and the grilled Faroe Islands salmon entrée. Both were delicious and the kitchen took the time to individually plate our portions. It was truly first class! They were so sweet to recognize my mother‘s birthday with a delectable scoop of vanilla ice cream and a delicious meringue hidden at the bottom. We wish we could have lingered over dinner longer, but we certainly will on our next visit! Do not miss this Boston gem with its stunning dining room and en vogue ambience.

Ostra is one of the finest restaurants in Boston. The service is exceptional, and this is complimented well by the cuisine, which is flavorful, delicious, and well-presented. I recommend this restaurant to celebrate time with family, special occasions, time with friends, or business meals to celebrate a new or ongoing successful partnership. I will guarantee that you will agree with my recommendation. If you haven't had the opportunity to make a reservation to enjoy the service and excellence of Ostra, then there is no better time than the present. Make your hotel reservations and dinner reservations, have some excellent wine with your dinner, and enjoy your time in Boston!

The food was good, but not standout for the price. The dining experience felt very modern, but a twinge too uptight for our preference. Known for their seafood, we ordered a variety of seafood dishes, but found that the flavor and detail was lacking. Overall, we were a bit disappointed in the experience. Nothing was bad per se, but for the price tag, the experience underwhelmed us.
