I called Owyhee Heating and Plumbing this morning and just 2 and 1/2 hours later Cody arrived. He was wearing an embroidered shirt with the company name, which I appreciated. When a service person or technician comes sto my door without any identifying clothing, I don't feel as comfortable letting them in my home. I had a leaky kitchen sink and Cody quickly identified that it was caused by my garbage disposal being very loose. Cody not only tightened the disposal, but also showed me how to do it should it vibrate loose again. He tested the pressure and made sure all the connections were tight. I felt confident that he fixed the problem and I won't hesitate to call Owyhee again.

This is for a furnace Tuneup Service. My technician, Talen was just awesome!! He didn't "rush" through the checkup. Did several diagnostic tests, once done he explained and showed me the issues my furnace had, not critical at this moment, but will become an issue down road, best to know now BEFORE a critical breakdown. Very professional, friendly personality. If there were 10 Stars, I would have given without hesitation!

Awesome service and respect

A burning smell was coming from our furnace and Owyhee Gas and Heating was able to send out a technician right away. Talen came prepared with all the appropriate tools, was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer all the questions I asked. He even went out of his way to try and fix a vent that was taken apart by another technician despite not having much install experience. I appreciated his patience and professionalism and would definitely recommend him as an HVAC tech. The service fee is reasonable and they don’t necessarily try to upsell you on anything.

My Technician, Talen, was great. He was conscientious, took the time and seemed to be very thorough with the furnace checkup.

Our HVAC technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He took time to explain what he was doing and provide helpful tips on maintaining our system. We also appreciated his courteous and respectful manner while conducting his service.

Your technician lied to en elderly woman about leaks in a basement she can't go down and check herself. Exposed all the pipes, but not a single leak was found and yet.......here's the kicker......wants to replace the entire system......how soon will you be settling out of court to repair the holes he made? Followup, your Salesman came by the house today, probably not realizing I had a moisture meter and I demanded he showed me the leaks. Among all the cut holes we did not find a single leak. Cut and dry, poorly cut, and very dry. When I showed your salesman the moisture meter he quickly admitted he'd use one before tearing holes in his own home. Thank-you for putting it in print and doubling down on the false premise of a leak. Corrosion, your opinion and/or speculation is irrelevant now as I can counter with pictures of any area with a moisture reading showing that there are no active leaks whatsoever to be resolved in the piping. Also outdated? That nice shiny copper pipe pictured is a higher grade/purity than what's commonly available today. I'd like to proceed by allowing you to pick out and pay the locally owned contractor to restore the damage.

I have had a difficult time dealing with this company and would not recommend. RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: I called and spoke with a representative and confirmed my address in your system. You’ll have my details to hopefully follow through on your end.

Talon (the tech sent to my home) did fine, but I expected to have someone more trained in the trade than 3.5 months by the company. I suppose I could have sent him packing when I found out he's as young as he is and has not yet attended trade school, but he was already diving in at that point. I appreciated his attitude and professionalism, but would have preferred knowing I was not getting someone with more experience and training digging into my furnace. No harm, no foul, I guess, and I didn't pay much so I didn't overpay for what I got.

Talen was very respectful, and was very proficient. I appreciated that the inspection was thorough and our system was in great working order. He made a couple suggestions on our water heater, without any pressure to address at the moment.
