Unbelievable experience from start to finish, The Painting Edge takes painting to a whole new level!! Recently moved into a new home that is 25 years old, already had a few coats of DIY paint from prior owners, plus multiple areas needing TLC (eg, nail pops, loose drywall seams, scratches, etc). Originally hired a different paint company for a few rooms, unfortunately the results were less than mediocre and I was terribly disappointed. A friend recommended The Painting Edge; Todd was actually available to come by the same day I called. He was upfront with his recommendations and timeline, and also provided guidance on other contractors beyond his scope of work. I was kept informed throughout the entire process, and all aspects of the project were coordinated seamlessly. The crew that completed the work was outstanding - respectful, polite and most importantly, did unbelievable work! I am beyond pleased with the final results, and going forward will only use The Painting Edge for my painting needs.

The Painting Edge did great work for us. Our garage was unfinished when we bought our house. They hung and finished drywall throughout the garage, insulated our exterior walls, built us a wall to make an extra room out there, and installed a door. The team was professional, conscientious, and very easy to work with. They even came by on Saturdays to make sure they finished quickly.

My father’s house had to undergo a complete rewire. The electrical company we used recommended The Painting Edge to complete the drywall and paint job after the rewire was finished. I couldn’t be more happy with their work, professionalism and communication ! From day one, Todd made himself available and answered every question immediately ! I travel for work, and he and his team were willing to work with and around the tenants who reside there. They bent over backwards to give the best service possible and to ensure we were happy with the final product! They deserve 10 stars! They started on time, finished on time and did everything they promised to do! I really appreciate the care they took as I grew up in this house and it looks amazing ! Recently we called Todd about painting our house again since they last did it ten years ago. It has held up great but is now due again. After inspecting our home he noticed some siding issues of concern which their carpentry team was able to efficiently replace while doing an excellent job. We were so happy I asked them about a deck project we were planning. Todd promptly quoted the work and we moved forward. The Painting Edge is my go to for all things painting. I’ve used them over the years for interior painting which when done by this team includes pole sanding the drywall before painting to get rid of imperfections. The painted walls looked like new! They recently completed exterior painting of all wood trim on my house - another excellent job which included carpentry work to replace rotted wood in various locations. Great work - meticulous and detailed.

My first experience using The Painting Edge was in 2005 and I was extremely pleased with the work done (painted the entire interior of a new home before move in). Fast forward to 2024 and we just finished the last of 3 painting projects for the year (bedroom, great room/kitchen/dining room, and exterior trim). Todd and his team once again exceeded all expectations. Excellent communication, very professional, and highly skilled. Their attention to detail and quality of finished product are hard to find these days. I highly recommend The Painting Edge. I know I will not use anyone else for future painting projects!

We had the exterior of the house fixed and painted. The team, lead by Jesus, was wonderful to work with. Jesus updated us throughout the project, was very professional, and completed the work quickly. We will definitely use The Painting Edge for future projects.

This company was amazing. I was able to go on vacation and come back to an incredible paint job on my kitchen cabinets. They were thorough, easy to work with and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend for future projects!

I had a small project request for ceiling dry wall repair and paint after having some canned lights installed. I found that it was really hard to find a team that could patch and paint. Todd personally came to see my project and offer a break down on cost and I really appreciated that. I had a bid from another company that was slightly lower than the estimate that was provided by the painting edge and I decided to go with Todd and his team because when he stopped by I wasn’t just another project but took his time and explained everything. His team is patient and fast without an impact on quality. Can’t even tell that I had holes cut out in my ceiling and I’m really OCD. Thanks Todd and Team

We’ve tried a lot of local painting companies over the years, but working with The Painting Edge was the first time we were thrilled with the end result. Kevin went above and beyond to make our recently renovated kitchen look amazing. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Working with Todd and his crew, Jeremiah and Willie was a pleasant and stress-free experience from start to finish. Todd was very responsive and got back to us quickly when we inquired about his painting services. The price was affordable and Todd went above and beyond to help accommodate our tight schedule. We felt safe leaving his crew in our home, as they were friendly and professional. The crew was able to remediate poorly painted doors and sloppy mistakes made by a previous contractor. We had 7 doors and frames painted. We are so very happy with our results and highly recommend this team of painting pros!

We hired The Painting Edge earlier this year to paint several rooms. Todd Cartmel and his team were lovely and the work was top notch - especially the stripes. We recently contacted The Painting Edge to fix a refinishing mess made of our two front doors by another local company. Todd brought in Debbie Henkle of Mills & Mills Renovations to strip and restain the doors. She and her team were awesome. The doors look great. We are really happy with everything!

Wow wow wow! Todd and his crew from The Painting Edge have helped me update and refresh my home, and I can’t thank them enough! They’ve painted interior, exterior and lacquered my kitchen cabinets. The finished products look INCREDIBLE! I’m especially impressed with the cabinets. I’ve had cabinets painted before, but they way they lacquer them is a game changer- no more chips, and a factory painted appearance and performance. Every single member of the crew I have interacted with has been respectful and kind. They really care about their customers. The Painting Edge just completed painting most of the interior of our home—ceilings, walls, and trim as well as our front door and surround. They did an absolutely wonderful job. Todd Cartmel was very helpful in the selection of paint colors to use. His price estimates were very competitive with other estimates we received. He inspected our house thoroughly to tell us how to prepare for each room’s work. He also scheduled the work around a family event we had coming up. His painters and drywall person were all friendly, courteous and thorough. Brian, Mike and Willie were the painters that were here the most often. Jordan, Paul and Josh were here as well. We were extremely comfortable having them in our home. They took great care preparing all of the surfaces and moving and draping the furniture and floors. They were always on time in the morning and had their work spaces clean and neat on leaving in the afternoons. They were very flexible about working around our schedule. Their drywall guy, Ray, was a superior craftsman. The sections of drywall and ceiling that he repaired are indistinguishable from the surrounding areas. Most importantly, all of our ceilings, walls and trim and our front door all look great now. Their final cost was well within their estimate. In short, we are extremely pleased with their work. We would not hesitate to call them again for any future painting needs!

Todd and his guys just completed a paiting project for us. We had new windows installed and that means painting. They spent a few hours covering everything, putting down paper in the paths they'd have to walk, then prepped, primed and painted the new trim and then any wall to the corners so that everything looked brand new. Two day job. This is probably the 6th or 7th time I've used them. The first time we wanted to paint a bedroom deep green. We had two other painters try. Todd's guy did a perfect job. Basically any time we need paint or drywall done, we call them. He's also done the outside of our home. Easy to communicate with. All his guys are really nice, trustworthy, hard working. Can't recommend The Painting Edge enough.

We love The Painting Edge! We had our interior walls all repainted and Todd made the entire process as smooth as possible. Shane and Sheldon went through our whole house, moving all of the furniture for us, patching and painting everything, then cleaning up after themselves and putting everything back. The team made us feel so good about the process, that within a year we had The Painting Edge come back to paint our exterior. Jesus and his team tackled that and finished the job quickly, while maintaining the quality of work and attention to detail that we have come to expect. Todd and his whole team really know what they are doing and are courteous and professional throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend The Painting Edge for your next painting project!

The guys at The Painting Edge did a great job on our house. The did light drywall repair and prep, painted our foyer, halls, kitchen, and bedroom. They were very thorough with masking off and clean up. It looks so professional, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else from now on.

The Painting Edge painters were AWESOME! They were pleasant, courteous, and professional. They surpassed my expectations. When the job was finished, we walked around our house and only then would they accept payment.
