I walked by this store one day as I was going to the post office and told myself, hmm looks nice I’ll come check this out sometime. It came to mind again when shopping for Christmas gifts. I must say I was thoroughly impressed. A massive wine selection on the left side and a very curated and impressive selection of consumable products on the right. I really took my time to take everything in. Delicious items from all over the world and every item had an origin story, which Doug knew. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient but never pushy or overbearing. I loved hearing him share his passion for the items in store. I walked out with plenty of unique goodies for my friends! I will be going back anytime I need something unique, worldly and tasty.

When I moved here from New York one of the things I missed most was its local curated artisanal grocery shops. We are so lucky to have Papageno’s here to fill that void with delicious, interesting, and beautifully designed products. They stock so many incredible things, including my favorite chocolate brand Antidote (must try!) which I’ve previously had to buy online. The owner Douglas is kind and fascinating - I found out he did the product curation for the Tin Building in NYC, debatably the most incredibly stocked elite Mecca of specialty food I’ve ever been to. Beyond excited about this food lovers haven and can’t wait to go back! Awesome they do gift baskets too, I can’t imagine a better present.

I love this place, the specialty food selection is so fun and its such a great spot to shop for gifts. The owners are so nice and helpful as well, much needed spot in Fort Lauderdale!

Absolutely wonderful service and selections at Papageno’s. The owners are lovely and know so much about wine. During my visit I had the pleasure of buying some unique products and of course left with delicious wine. I cannot wait to return!

I got a great experience yesterday. A good red wine that the manager recommended to me and pretty nice candies for the holidays, I’ll be back soon for the next seasonal candies.

I completely agree with most of the reviews on here, but can't really give a place a high rating when the prices are so ridiculously high compared with other local businesses - I mean they're even higher than Fresh Market/Whole Foods on many items. By far the worst though is the stratospheric prices on the wine!!

Was just in here earlier today. They have a refined selection of wines, snacks, etc. The wine they chose for me was DELICIOUS. They know what theyre doing. Two cuties run this shop and I hope for many years.

This is an amazing place. Very interesting wines but also rare and delicious candies, sweets, gourmet oils and vinegars, teas, coffees chocolates from all over the world. And much more. Worth a visit asap and be greeted and led through this adult Willy Wonka store by its charming and knowledgeable owners Doug and Marco.
