I came here expecting the same old pasta that I've been served in Australia All My Life. The instant I put this pasta in my mouth. I thought I'm in Italy. I don't know how they do it. The best pasta!

We have been getting the pasta from there to take home and cook for a while, which has been really good and tried their new opening restraunt / cafe. The menu only included a few sandwich options and a lasgna none of the pastas that we were originally told would be on the menu. The sandwich which was 17 dollars was very underwhelming, it was a roll with a tiny amount of tomato, prosciutto and mosserella which left us both hungry. The flavour was extremely bland and when we asked for salt and pepper, they only had salt. It was served in paper when we were dinning in and we had to request for a plate to eat on. An overall disappointing experience.

I placed an order online and it somehow got misplaced by the delivery person. When I reached out to let the Allegria team know that I did not receive my order and the delivery person had not rung my apartment doorbell as instructed, they worked quickly to get a replacement order out to me as soon as possible. It really was the best and most genuine service I have had in a long time. Special shout out to Ciara for assisting me with this, I couldn’t have hosted a better birthday dinner without your help! ❤️ The food itself was also so delicious! I really enjoyed the garlic bread, the goats cheese pasta as well as the mushroom lasagne. I have since recommended Allegria pasta to lots of my friends and cannot wait to dine in at the restaurant one day :)

Staff are super lovely. The lasagne was very nice. Pasta sheets well cooked and not too thick.. I had the gnocchi which was a bit stodgy, probably too much flour in the recipe. They were pretty big gnocchi’s as well. I prefer them a smaller size for sauce to gnocc ratio. Also had the tiramisu. I don’t think they use the traditional Italian saviordi biscuits which is a shame. The sponge itself was really heavy and dense. If they were to use the traditional sav biscuits it would’ve been lighter and yummier. The mascarpone cream was good tho. Not the greatest I’ve ever had but not the worst either. I could only have two tablespoon before I felt super full due to the heaviness of it. I gave an extra star because I liked the staff.

Been a customer for a while, and saw a sign about a pasta making class. Signed up, and by gosh, what an experience. Gabby ran us through the process of hand kneading dough, drying it out for fettuccine, filling cappelletti and tortellini and how to twist! Not to mention the hydration available, with wine and spritz on offer from Zonzo! After the pasta making, sat down for a lovely lunch with pasta, salad, focaccia and tiramisu. Fantastic experience and great value for such an authentic experience.

Seems ok and good pasta but why don’t they make it a pasta bar instead of just a shop?

Love this place, high quality pasta that tastes great! Way better than 99% of the pasta you eat at restaurants.

I made this gorgeous leek and mushroom Gruyère pasta dish for my friends & it was good good I made another batch! Pasta is so fresh and delicious! & the breadcrumbs were the most perfect touch 🥰 Very happy, thank you!

I got the scallop, crab and fennel agnolotti and nicola potato gnocchi with ragu bolognese that came with a potato focaccia garlic bread and tiramisu delivered to my house as a birthday gift. Everything was delicious and so easy to prepare. Best birthday gift 😋

We get pasta and sauce from here probably a little more than we should but it is so delicious, and so easy that it's hard to stop. We love the friendly staff Kara and Theo and many others. Thanks to the team:)

The mushroom lasagne is DIVINE. The texture of the pasta is like silk. It's a revelation.

We had the mushroom lasagna and garlic bread tonight and the whole family loved it! The mushroom lasagna is a good addition to the menu. We have tried the beef lasagna before too and really enjoy the spinach pasta sheets that come with it. I also love it that you do home deliveries too. Highly recommend any of the dishes from Pasta Poetry!
