I contacted Pathway Surgery in November 2024 and booked my total hip surgery in Montreal with Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde, December 20th. Joseph at Pathway Surgery, was there for me every step of the way. Everything went like clockwork, my surgery was smooth and my recovery has been beyond my expectations. The nurses, physio and anesthesiologist were all great. I have had a great follow up experience also and feel safe and taken care of. Thank you to Dr. Rodriquez-Elizade for your incredible talent and thank you to Joseph and the whole team at Pathway Surgery who made everything go so smoothly. Dr. Pauyo is a phenomenal surgeon and did an amazing job on my daughter’s ACLR. We were looking at a 7-9 month wait in Alberta to have it done, from the time I inquired with Dr. Pauyo to the surgery being done was 12 days. He clearly explained what the surgery would entail, and answered every question we had. Since her surgery Dr. Pauyo and his staff have continually followed up with us to ensure she is doing well.

My Grandson Jayden (15 year old) who is an elite QB suffered a complete ACL tear at the end of the 2024 season. He has professional ambitions and the wait time for a surgery in the public system would have implied a 5 to 6 month wait and the inhability to play the 2025 season when including recovery. Since he is also in his growth phase, we needed a surgeon that was familar with the specific pediatric approach required. So we turned to the private sector and found Pathway Surgery right here in Montreal. We first spoke to Joseph who was quick to respond and clear about the process. Then we met Dr. Pauyo who was empathetic and clear about the options and how the type of procedure (where to pull the replacement tendon from) could potentially affect his draft scoring card for for American colleges. The surgery was performed within 5 weeks of the injury and now he is on the path to recovery and will be able to play his 2025 season. Not cheap, but very professional and efficient. One small thing I found could be improved is that the paiment had to be done by wire transfer as they don't accept credit cards... Still, good job Patway Surgery!

The Pathway team is exceptional and the overall experience with my Knee Arthroscopic was perfect. Great attention to detail on all elements like testing, pre surgical, post surgical follow up communications and patient care. Special call out to Dr. Abouali, just a really great person/surgeon and so much attention to my outcome. In addition, all support staff made me feel valued and cared for. I am big believer in private medicine - this experience reinforced this. Thanks to the Pathway team ... I will be skiing soon

Thanks to Dr. Rodriguez and his team in the OR as well the administration team I have a knee I can now almost extend fully which due to two failed previous replacements I had such lack of range of motion for over 6 years. Now with a hinged knee replacement I can walk without a limp no pain in opposite hip. Still a ways to go at 2 weeks post op but I have no idea how to thank your team. Thanks Dr. Rodriguez!!

My boy 16yrs old blew his ACL at the end of October playing football and we were in a tuff place to either wait for public health sector or find a private clinic as quickly as possible so that he can rehab hard and possibly make his grade 12 season. Pathway surgery stepped up big time and got us in within a month. We flew from Alberta to Montreal and underwent surgery by Dr. Abouali to give our kid the best opportunity to play his grade 12 season and chase his dreams of playing at the next level. The team was upfront with everything, fantastic patient support and clear precise communication on everything that we needed to make us feel good about our decision. Both our boys suffered simultaneous knee injuries related to contact sports. They had to undergo an ACL reconstruction and a menisectomy. The Pathway team was very helpful and attentive from A to Z in organizing the operation for our two boys, as well as prompt and accurate in the care and information provided to us. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend their services.

I needed hip replacement, and was awaiting a consultation with Dr. Rodriguez, who had performed surgery on my husband. When a friend suggested going private, my husband contacted Dr. Rodriguez's office and found he could offer this surgery in Montreal at Westmount Ortho. He put me in touch with Joseph at Pathway, who quickly responded and smoothed the way. Within 4 weeks, I had my consultation, pre-op tests, and surgery. Staff at Westmount were very professional and attentive. All my follow-up is being done back home and I am very pleased with Dr. Rodriguez's care. Now I am moving forward from the constant pain, and very glad I was able to speed up the process by opting for private care.

Pathway surgery went above and beyond to make sure my hip surgery was a success. The doctors, nurses and administrators were fantastic to work with. The took great care to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The state of the art robotic surgery means I am up and walking, pain free. Would highly recommend.

I suffered a skiing injury 20 years ago and needed surgery to repair the hip socket. That surgery was successful and allowed me to continue a very active lifestyle for over 19 years. However, in the past 6 months it deteriorated rapidly, to the point where I had a severe limp and was in constant pain. I was in a lot of hip pain and Dr Zywiel mentioned Pathway Surgery as an option to waiting for almost a year. He put me in touch with Joseph and from that moment it was smooth sailing. Joseph is the ultimate professional. Dr Zywiel Dr Guzzo and their medical team with both compassionate and proffessuonal service got me through the surgery. I’m back home and will be under supervision for as long as I need. my recommendation is a 10 star!

Nurses and Doctors were very professional. Clinic was clean and well equipped. They supplied many items like tissues, face cloths, towels and always has newly sanitized raised toilet seats for us. I recommend this clinic
