Violet has been our one and only groomer for over 2 years. She is responsible and reliable and most importantly great with our dog. Great groom every time. The Pawgo van is very convenient. Violet communicates with you every step, comes to your door to get your dog and returns with a properly groomed great looking dog. Highly recommend Violet. Violet was the sweetest with my reactive dog! He’d been denied service at two groomers before here.
He came back smelling so good and with his nails short, something other groomers couldn’t do. 10/10 service!

I can't recommend Pawgo Chicago enough. We have a long haired elderly cat, and she has a very hard time keeping herself clean. Having a service that comes to our house has been really lovely - it's much less stressful on our cat, and they are very flexible with our schedule. Pawgo is great about reminding us when she's due for a cleaning; it's been really good for our cat.

Jose had so much care, patience, and kindness when it came to bathing my little dog Huey who is SUPER ANXIOUS. He took his time to try to make him feel comfortable and even though Huey was a ball of nerves he spent time talking with us after the bath so we could work together make things less scary for next time!

Had our first grooming appt with Jose. He was professional and communicated well. Our dog is nervous about grooming - Jose was patient and gentle with her. He did a good job!

I was looking forward to my experience with Pawgo. However, my experience was unpleasant. I received a text message from Reona at 8:46am informing me that she arrived. I replied telling her I was 10 minutes away and would be there shortly. Reona informed me that I had a 10 minute grace period via text message.
From my understanding in regards to grace periods they begin after the allotted time. So, if my appointment is at 9 then my grace period should end at 9:10am. I understand she has a schedule and wants to be punctual, but Reona was beginning to drive off and it was only 9:02am. Before she drove off I informed her that the dog I wanted to have groomed wasn't my dog. She's a family friends dog and has never been properly groomed. I expressed my discontent, remained calm, and asked would Reona be able to give me a few minutes so I could grab Nala (dog) put her harness/leash on and bring her to the van for her grooming.
Reona reiterated that due to her schedule and logistics of where the other dogs she would be grooming live she'll be unable to groom Nala. She said she might come back if time permitted, but never did. So, all this to say, Nala didn't receive a grooming and I was charged a cancellation fee. She was also a bit snippy towards me while I remained tactful. I did apologize to Reona about my godmother's rudeness. That was uncalled for, I'll admit.
Thank you for acknowledging the behavior of your family member upon arrival. Our groomers will not tolerate abusive, belligerent, or aggressive behavior-including swearing & name calling when our groomers are just there to serve. I understand that Rae was trying to get back to you but unfortunately with the weather she was unable. Yes. You had a scheduled appointment and your Aunt screaming and yelling at her didn’t make her feel welcome or needed. Please reach out to Rae as I know she understands your perspective and is empathetic to your needs, but you must also understand hers. She went all the way to you as scheduled. Stood by for 20-30 minutes not 10 and then was screamed at. She felt unsafe and it was very awkward. She put her time on her schedule aside for this appointment. A same day cancellation or cancellation upon arrival does warrant compensation for the requested appointment.
