Je viens de recevoir mon Schimmel C-121. J’ai eu un service extraordinaire de Maxime, à la hauteur de la qualité du piano.

Very happy with my Kawai GL20.

I am so very pleased that I bought my piano at Piano Vertu. It was such a positive experience...and very professional. It started with an encourging email from Maxime. I then worked out the details with Negar who was simply amazing. Negar helped me focus in on what would be best for me. She understood what I needed in a piano and helped me with my decision on functionality and financing. The conversation flowed easily. The piano was passed along to Chris who did the delivery. It was an 11 hour drive to my home and Chris kept me updated along the way and when he would arrive. Once at my home, he very friendly, professional, and positive. He carefully and quickly set up the new piano. He then gave me a quick but informative tour of the piano. Chris was cheerful and pleasant while he focused on getting the piano set up. The overall wonderful experience dealing with Piano Vertu is second to none. I highly recomend them for your piano needs. You will not be dissapointed. We are thrilled.

Je viens d'acheter mon deuxième piano chez Piano Vertu. Comme la première fois, j'ai reçu un accueil chaleureux et un service courtois et professionnel.

Maxime a pris le temps de bien me montrer l'instrument et de me le faire essayer, même s'il décollait le lendemain pour le Japon et même s'il s'agissait d'un simple piano droit.

La livraison deux jours plus tard a été elle aussi sans reproche.

J'ai totalement confiance en ce commerce.

Piano vertu is a temple where magic happens.
This is a review that has been in the making for six years. It started with the beginning of my son’s musical education, at the time 6 years old-.I A lot to say, I hope the review is not too long.

If you ask around in Montreal where is a good place to shop for a piano, everyone will mention Piano Vertu and Maxime— the owner-, not only for the selection of the instruments, but also because Maxime is passionate musician as well. As matter of fact, my son’s music teacher was the first one to mention Piano Vertu.
My son just started, and I was really unsure whether it was the case to purchase a real piano.. I figured that a good digital one would have sufficed, and that an online purchase would be good enough. However, a musician friend of mine insisted that I absolutely needed to go to a specialized place, « a real piano store !» She is a pianist herself and scolded me. «  You do not get it! Your son needs to understand that there are special places where they care exclusively about pianos and their sounds, with people who are very happy to live all the time surrounded by music . A sort of a temple, separated by the rest of the world, where magic happens » .
That was the first time that my son and visited the showroom Maxime was there and watched patiently and assisted my 6 years old son, while he was playing with any singly piano he could get his little hands on. When I told Gaia-my pianist friend-that I finallyunderstoodt what she meant, and that we finally went to a store that was exactly like the one she described, she then commented calmly«  and now you can go and get your digital piano, if you want, but if he little one decides to continue studying piano, you will both know what to do!

Indeed, that is exactly what happened: I bought a digital piano, but one that at that time was not sold my Maxime.
....Six year fast forward
My son continued with his musical studies and the day arrived when he asked me to buy him a traditional piano. That was the second visit to Piano Vertu.
Maxime greeted us the same way he did six years before: cordially and enthusiastically. He spend 3 afternoons with my son discussing «  the crispness and the « creaminess » of one piano compared to the others, the various registers ; the dynamics, and a bunch of other things that were too technical for me. Finally my son got the piano of his dreams. Maxime went above and beyond to make sure that it was delivered as soon as possible ( 2 days). Not only I got the best piano, but in the weeks that followed the purchase. it also became clear that I got it at the best price as well. I really could not have been happier.

J'ai fait l'achat d'un Kawai GX2 il y a 6 ans. Toujours pleinement satisfait de mon piano. Cela dit, je viens tout juste de faire l'achat d'un clavier numérique Kawai ES920 pour pratiquer sans déranger les autres humains dans la maison. J'ai encore reçu un service hors pair afin de m'aider dans le choix du bon clavier. Merci à Maxime et son équipe !!!! N'hésitez pas à les visiter avant de choisir votre piano !!!

Our kids have been taking piano lessons at APV for over 5 years. The teachers are excellent, and the concerts are well-organized. The owner is passionate and involved, making the experience enjoyable and formative for our kids.

We’d give 5 stars if not for a few downsides, though the administration has been responsive. The standard contract doesn't allow you to opt out of APV using photos or videos of kids for promotion. In 2019, our "exceptional" request to opt out was respected, but this year, our son’s photo appeared on the new website without our knowledge. APV removed it when asked but reminded us it was an exception. I wish parents had the option to consent, as with schools and daycares.

Entering APV through the rear door before the store opens on Saturdays isn’t kid-friendly, but APV has promised our teacher can let us in through the front. The waiting area is unpleasant for a 1-hour wait (it's a church pew in a narrow hallway), but you can arrange for a more comfortable spot by speaking with the owner.
