Whenever we visit Chester my wife and I always visit Powells, and in the past have purchased from them on many occasions and they have a consistent very high standard and set of morals.
The staff are always very friendly, attentive but never pushy, I recently purchased a beautiful and unusual necklace for my wife and she is over the moon.
The shop has recently had an update which has been done to a beautiful standard but still retains its warm vintage aura.
If you are visiting Chester with the intention of visiting a jewellers pay them a visit you won't be disappointed!!

As always, excellent service, amazing choice and expert advice received on our most recent visit. We were offered many options when we explained we were looking for our wedding rings and what ideas we had on designs etc. The assistant couldn't have been more helpful. Visited Chester for the weekend and stumbled upon this gorgeous little jewellers on the rows, I fell in love with it immediately!
Ended up going in and having a laugh and a chat with some of the staff and ended up treating myself to a vintage gold bracelet from the sixties! It was the perfect cherry on top of a lovely weekend.

Powells and the team have delivered excellent customer service, they are good at communicating in a timing fashion and are knowledgeable on their products. I am not local and bought remotely and they sent many extra images and then posted my item, sent a tracking number when it shipped and checked that it arrived safely. I am planning my next purchase and will recommend to others.
