We used Terry three times before settling on which house to buy. We are now in our new home and thanks to Terry we are secure in knowing we have made the right decision. In the first two he uncovered serious problems which would have cost us considerably in the long run. He saved us from making two very bad decisions. Terry is a detail driven enthusiast. He has the knowledge and expertise to back this up. For our third house, I got to follow Terry around and he described exactly what he was doing. Now I have completed quite a few DIY projects and grew up building our family home with my father but Terry’s current knowledge and expertise far surpassed anything I knew. We booked Terry on two occasions to inspect 2 properties we considered buying, he was recommended to us by a family friend. So glad because his inspections were highly meticulous; if the house had an issue, Terry will find it! Comparably, Terry’s service is much more involved, which is exactly what you would want when making the biggest investment in your (our) life. We decided to walk away from the first property when he found a severe moisture issue by a window corner, which may have saved us a fortune in repairs and headaches down the line. His roof and weathertightness checks were aided by drone media which is not always offered elsewhere. Terry apparently was in the builder business previously – it is evident he really live and breathe investigating houses, building standards and giving detailed feedback, for the owner’s perspective and informing us of all risks and providing an objective opinion of those. Enjoyed working with him and wouldn’t buy our next house without his inspection!

I have had two different building inspections from Precision Building Inspectors, both done by Terry. The first was a water tightness inspection on a part plaster building. Terry pointed out some serious issues which ultimately led to me withdrawing my offer and I did not buy the property.
